Yzdocklets.com Is Now Dockex.com

Hi everyone,

I have been working on dockex.com since I finished school. It took me about a week, but I managed to get the site up and its main contents done. Still more features and additions to come.

DockEx.com will replace yzdocklets.com providing developers the chance to upload and modify their docklets whatever they see fit (and not depend on me...). The goal is to have dockex.com become the portal for docklets that run on any available docks.

Y'zDocklets.com is now hosting couple of files that were not moved to dockex.com. Docklets that were not made by me will be removed soon. I recommend the developers to register with dockex.com and upload their docklets.

Just a reminder that the site is still in its beta stage. Everything was designed and coded from scratch. I hope it helps spread this community.

What do you mean by hoverlinks? If you mean changing on hover, then thats already implemented.

Allright, when uploading I get this message: "The docklet package supplied was not a valid ZIP archive.". But I am sure it is a valid ZIP file (Zipped with winzip 8). :cry:

Intereseting.. I have not tried it with zip version 8.0. The website checks the type of the file and tries to make sure that it is an "application/zip" type.

Can you post your zip file? I'll try it and see what the problem is.

You can obtain the zip file from http://www.wincustomize.com/download.asp?S...D=2170&LibID=29 (it's the same ZIP file). I hope you can find out what the error is.|

Browser used for uploading was Internet Explorer 6.0.2600 btw.

It's Internet Explorer that is causing problems, succeeded with Opera 6!

I just fixed it for IE.. (and all the other browsers i hope).. IE is setting the type to "application/x-zip-compress" instead of the usual "application/zip"...

I fixed it for the registration form... forgot to do it for the docklet update form... should work now..
