this rocks, finally a bar. i am too cheap to get OB. and i have wanted the bar for forever. if i can help in any way, let me know.
[preview]ade Shell Replacement For Windows
i re-designed recent items menu with recent app and recent documents, and the ability of clear list ![]()
I have some problem to obtain a sorted list by date of documents... but i'm working on it ![]()
When the beta (or maybe just alpha
) version will be ready to grab it..... heh, I just couldn't wait.... I really want it, coz' I can't handle OBar anymore...
the alpha will be out when there will be something to test ![]()
I don't think that anyone want some that is too much incomplete... i'm trying to build a perfect apple menu cos it's the always seen menu... the other menu isn't so hard to implement...
so... when i'll finish that thing i'll release an alpha... so we can debug it and then i'll develope the capture menu function to hide menu from other application and put it in the bar.
I think that the "special effects" in that application is important because it's a greate feauture of aqua ![]()
4 example...
In Recent menu, u can hide Application or document section by click in the caption and the menu auto-resize its self ![]()

You mean the context menu? (just curious)
great job. just cant wait for the first release ![]()
Looks good..
what language are you writting it in? I see a lot of people here on A-S use vb. it blows my mind.
i'm coding 2 separate version...
1 version in visual basic
2 version in visual c++
Ok... the vb version is really much faster than vc++ version... so i think i'll continue to use vb version...
Even if the greater part of work is put togheter win32 api calls, and design the application... pay attention to destroy all unused object and use low resource ![]()
Any news... recent menu is quite finish... with 10 recent docs (icon + link to open it) and recent application, bye now is the app used by recent docs, but i'm searching for "Most used application" that xp start menu show (if anyone know... tell me... i think it's a reg key).
The next step will be finish the finder menu, than the other menu.
Then first alpha will be released so all u can help me to debug this little software ![]()
