There's your problem. On any Mac, especially the lower end ones, it's almost necessary for you to max the RAM (640MB for the iBook). Believe me, it makes a world of difference.

So if i bump it up to 640 it will run games much better *so for being so dumb in this area*
coz i think im only getting it to 512
is 512 good enough?

On the new iBooks with DDR you can put 1152MB RAM in there. You can get a 1 gig chip and it'll work.
