heeeelll yeah it is! i bet if you put SuSE Linux on a computer with 1 GB of ram and the new AMD 64bit, it would completely WASTE any G5 at any test you dared to throw at it.
Again, ignorant british AMD cultists still think that comparing the specs of a powerPc to a X86 one is a linear proportion. EEEEEEEEE! wrong.
It was proven that there is no sence in having a windows machine vs a osx machine. Having LINUX vs osx is a different story. Unfortunatly it still doesnt get into many OC geeks in the world.

Um, don't tar all of us British with the same brush. About eight people complained and they took the advert down. If Apple weren't so big headed and had added a disclaimer or similar it wouldn't have happened.
Apple have no-one to blame but themselves.
(On my usual note: I only got to see the advert THREE times. Hell I only ever saw the G4 iMac advert once.)
I think good on the British for not allowing false advertising on their airwaves.
People don't like being lied to and Apple marketing have a bad habit of doing just that.

P.S. As an Afro-American that actually lived in the UK for awhile, I can attest to the fact that the British are generally very nice people. Also, my wife is British.
