The Official Panther Logon Screen

I took the whore logonon ui made by judge and flip-oh which was then tweaked by several other including xero and jason, and made a quick mock up thanks to my loved one (iMac).

Thats how the logon ui looks like in panther, no matter what wall u use.

I used 1:1 screenshots off of my macs pdf, so the sharpness screams out "perfection"

Very nice Panther logon screen... but.. those buttons look a little "off" to me. I assume they are the actual ones in OS X, but they don't really work for me. Am I alone in this? Maybe someone can mod it to use iTunes style buttons. Thanks for the logon though, really appreciate it.

Very nice man, you are presently on a 'Panther roll', it's always nice to play with a new OS...

One thing that I would like to mention is when loading it up in Logon Loader, there is no 'Preview' because there is no small screenshot.jpg to be display for 'Preview'...

I like the new Apple style, on the Panther background, but I also have Xero's OSX & Ice LogonUI's and both of these have a 278 x 208 .jpg (Ice) & 500 x 320 .jpg (OSX) file in their folders...

It just makes it nice and complete...

I extracted the background for the logonui and here it is. It just made it under the 60kb limit but it is huge in size! 1600x1024 it may not be huge to people with 50" widescreen plasma tvs for monitors but mine only goes up to 1024x768.

has anyone figured out how to make the image in the backround link to an external image, for example, i change the name of the image i want in the backround to, lets say bg.bmp and the logon takes that image and puts it in the backround.

BTW: great theme

PS: how do you change the backround in the logonui? Do you need a program?
