I can compile stuff (even the kernel, it's not half as hard as people think it is) and I know how to use (and sometimes prefer) the command line, but I don't know the little things like ./configure --help. :nuts:

i hope xine will work better, because rhythmbox crashes pretty hard with internet radio.
in addition, since some here use slack, has anyone had trouble getting libmusicbrainz recognized, ive installed it, but rhythmbox and sound juicer can't find it. ive even tried changing the PKG_CONFIG_PATH and stuff, but its still not seen.
No, internet radio is still pretty flaky for me w/ XINE.
This is all suppose to be fixed in the long awaited RHYTHMBOX 0.6.0 though.
ok, xine is MUCH better
internet radio seemed to be flakier with gstreamer. not really flaky, more titanicy......
anyway, i figured out the dep problem, and got sound juicer to install. of course, after doing that , when i try to extract cd, it still asks me for sound juicer. i think ive installed the real sound juicer and it wants a sound juicer for rhythmbox plugin, so ill keep looking. or i might start messing with grip....
