Bezelizer

Greetings pogz!

Prompt, why I cannot start Bezelizer.

The program gives out a mistake

I correctly register a way to the program. The instruction has read 10 times.

It is a pity

You need to give the program some parameters so it knows which bezel to use and what program to run.

If you are using a dock, usually there is an "arguments" field that you can use. Just put the name of the bezel's folder there (ie, play).

Or, create a shortcut to bezelizer. Right click > Properties > and append the name of the bezel to the "target" box (ie C:\bezelizer\bezelizer.exe play) bolded part is what you are adding.

Cheers :)

how can I use this with a visual basic script like this:

C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\ObjectBar\Eject.vbs

so I can use the bezel form my OB eject buttons?..........

anyone?

#110222

That would be the Bezel ini

#110286

Ghostwalker, if you know how to do it, please tell me, step by step...........

please.

#110292

this would be the bezel.ini

Comment=This is just a simple example of a Play bezel.

[Launch]

File="C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\ObjectBar\Eject.vbs"

Arguments=

this belongs in the folder with your eject bezel images, then link your shortcut to bezelizer.exe go to properties and in the target section add the name of the folder that the ini resides in

example: "C:\Documents and Settings\Ghostwalker\My Documents\Applications\bezelizer105\bezelizer.exe" EjectVBS

hope that makes since.

this also depends on which vbs script you are using

I'd put a shortcut into the eject folder.

the properties of the shorcut are:

target:"C:\Program Files\bezelizer109\bezelizer.exe" eject

start in: C:\

am I missing something?

#110389

the shortcut can be anywhere and the eject part at the end of target just needs to be the name of the folder your bezel.ini is in. I dont use objectbar so you might have to link directly from objectbar to bezelier exe and the add the parameters

here's an eject bezel I made, you can use it with this program, which opens your CD tray. Download the bezel here (might need to "rightclick -> save as" or paste in download manager).

See below for screenshot.

When I used the eject bezel when I opened it it said run time error 13 type mismatch

It's because you use v109 with a .ini for v105.

With the new version, you should use a .ini like this :

Comment=This is just a simple example of a Play bezel.  You'll need to mod the path below to your QCD player.

[Launch]

File="C:\Program Files\QCD 3\QCDPlayer.exe"

Arguments=/play

[settings]

Transparency=100

CenterBezel=1

PosX=0

PosY=0

Hope it will help you
