nope you dont need a shortcut for each.

just put the command and argument into the ini file, create a new folder and name it whatever you want to call it. Then create a shortcut and add the folder name behind the target.

what you have to do now is to run the shortcut which shows the bezel and the executes the command you fed into the ini.

ok i tried to link this to winamp, and allright, ive done it, i run it i get the play arrow on screen but winamp tries to play its own argument!! and i get winamp trying to play a song called "play" (and no, its not jlos play!)

Any clues?

here's an eject bezel I made, you can use it with this program, which opens your CD tray. Download the bezel here (might need to "rightclick -> save as" or paste in download manager).

Nice Liron, ill give it a shot as soon as i get home... no way of using the eject function in windows? how does the itunes eject (and insert) button work? waht is it linked to, does anyone know? cause we coul duse that same resource instead of having to install a diff program

The open_cd program I linked to is a stand-alone app which doesn't require any installation and is pretty small in size. Although I admit I'd rather not use 3rd party apps, this one isn't such of a big deal.

close or close d or close e depending on if you have more than one drive you can get it to open another drive also open e etc. hope that makes since

Just creat a shortcut go to properties and in the target at the end type in close then this shortcut will close the drive Ive got both shortcuts and kkmenu got it set up to open and close all my drives individually works great

yup, it seems as if you have to use two different shortcuts for open/close drive. Although, if you're using a hotkey manager, you can just set it up as two hotkeys.

ctrl+e for open

ctrl+r for close

for instance.

sorry I haven't been around too much.

Goku, did you ever figure out if it was my program screwing up MD? I can't get MD to run on my computer but I'll see if i can reproduce that problem with another computer.

As far as user-friendliness, yeah, it needs some work. I might add a shortcut creating wizard or something like that (if anybody has some better ideas pleeeeeease share ).

Winamp, WMP, iTunes, etc don't have any command-line parameters that could be any use, but hopefully I'll get the time to add some control options to the program. I only had QCD in mind when I created this :shy:
