I haven't been a member of the site for long at all, but I've been around the community for a long time. In the beginning I just never signed up for any of the sites and made no appearances on forums or in IRC rooms. I just came to the site to check out the news and download the latest stuff. :shy:
The Good Old Days
Ahhh yes... The days when Aquacontrols could road freely, and you came to accept Visual Basic... But now you want NO aquacontols and C! And the days when we only had goku, dukie, and jef as admins. And the time before the hay-day of the beloved, Goku's Hammer :order: . The days before the time when Aqua-soft fell into a deep resescion.
And do you remember when Aqua-soft.org changed to aqua-man.net? Well, I do... Then... in 2002... aqua-man.net fell, the board was down and the members with out thier beloved board laid in their rooms crying, and wondering "when will it end, THE INSANITY!!!!"
Then the days when Videomann's harsh criticism roamed the board like a wild f**ker (can't correct me now can you videomann!?!?). LOL.
::cough:: ::cough::
This board rules like none other( :rule: :own: (Y) :who's your daddy: ), it'll never die. All you guys can't deny what I'm putting down right here! Ya' heard!? (Hollaaaaa'!!!!!!!!!)
PS: Goku's emoticons rock!

I joined Aqua Soft by july 2003, and I wasnt that active by then, but I remember some names, and I remember there was a guy who was kinda active, named Godai or something like that, I think he had some sort of Flash Dock like Iceman, or he was helping. Since the board went down some time by august 2002, I never saw him again, I guess it was when the domain was changed.

Yeah, I remember the guy. He used to be very active and helpful, besides a really cool person. Unfortynately he felt a bit dissapointed because nobody paid attention to his work after Moby launched his great C++ dock, and that's why he left us.
I have a question here, I was very very fanatic of UrbanSlurp, even before that being a member of Aqua-Soft. I remember that I used think on those guys as gods
and they really deserved the credit, they had some of the firsts "pro" aqua themes in the scene besides other great stuff.
How many of those guys still around in the scene?
Clockwise, Doug (I think), Deggy, Chris...

"Christian Resources" site?
yes.. i still have quite a few skins / apps from that site..
BTW Doug Hoxworth also went by Disciple, i believe he's still around here..

Hehe, me too.
Though I think I joined in the beginning of 2002...
Have fun,

I joined in December of 02, but I used to hang around the boards well before that!!! I remember Jef, and Jeff, who I always confused
BTW: which one made the Aqua-Apps, and who made Objectbar????
I remember the site being closed down all the time, and having to scour the web for the AquaApps which were literally mpossible to find!!
I also remember some fights here, and members being banned, such as Maximus-Gratus, and one more old member who I don't remember, and who Goku hated!!
Those were the old days, when I first fell in love with Macs!!!

Jef with 1 "F" made the aqua-controls, and most aqua-apps.
Jeff with 2 "F"s made MacView / MacVision / Objectbar.
Ahhh, those days... Where OS X was THE new thing, where the aquacontrols crashed my system, where Flash Docks and DirectX Docks sucked up all my CPU resources... I miss that days.
Who am i kidding? It's much better know!
Remember when Moby came for the first time with his Dock? My jaw dropped to the floor, i was like "Woooooooooooow, the Mac's Dock is here". The same happened when Y'z came, then OD.
Old times never get back. Thank God!
