The Good Old Days

Lol more than 3/4 of the users at Aqua-Soft aren't accustomed to the old Aqua-Soft. Do any of you older forum goers (DZ, Tim, jef, Goku, Taha, bolero, Duckie, Iceman, elpincho, Valkyre, Sone, and more) remember Aqua-Soft as it was when I joined in August 2002.

The days when the Aqua Apps were really very popular.

The days when we didn't know of Invision so we used vBulletin with the Aqua skin by Valkyre.

The days when the news page was just jef posting Aqua Apps updates in rounded rectangles.

The days when Aqua-Soft had that sweet Apple.com tabs layout .

The days when Taha was tahaumer and Goku was Talu.

It's really interesting to see how much this community has evolved since back when I was a n00b.

Anyone remember these days?

But we only had Jef then. Now we also have siwu, albeik alilm and others now

Definately, the community these days though is less directed towards Mac OS X emulation and overall theming. August 2002 it was like what's a theme all I know is OSX

I havet see something from him sens "osx 10.2 update" (2002-06-02) who still is one off the most popular themes over at themexp,

his version "osx 10.1" was what who made me think mac,

i dont know when that was released but it's very long time,

sigh those days were definitely addicting.

I seriously browsed in aqua-soft hours and hours a day, going to sleep too late (early morning actually), waking up after 5 or 6 hours incase i missed something new that just came up. These were the days i transformed from a cool guy to a complete geek. As much as i like it, i became so addicted to aqua that it blinds me from everything else.

yeah mihaly has a good memory, one of the things i lost while being logged in to the net too long; i was Talu before and taha was tahaumer.. and as mihaly said, it was the peak of a/s productivity (of the aqua apps).

I remember those names around that time:
