Actually, a 1.5Mbps it is fast. My download speed is 185.3 KB/s. My upload speed is 46.4 KB/s.

I could download a 60MB file in just 4 minutes.

I could download a DVD movie in less than a day. (Legally of course .)

For an average user, this is the best connection. Fast and cheap. Unless there's another faster connection and a cheap price, then thats another story.

Yes for the average user it is great. But for someone who like to legally download things or very large files, a faster connection would be needed. I think we have a 3mbps for $29.99 here

12 data calls (for 24 hours a day) times 3 baht (plus 0,21 baht of 7% VAT that will be 3,21 baht)

= 38,52 baht / day

= 1155,60 baht / month (30 days)

that's a lot.
