Internet Connection prices.

Hey guys,

I was just wondering on how much does it cost for you guys to take a standard connection. Since this is a consideration for all i'll take a speed on which every1 can respond.

Well here in Kuwait, the best ISP is FastTeleco

for 256KBPS the price is KD 199/year ~ US $ 745/year.

It is preffered that you state the amount for the same speed. If you dont have the info, then you can just state your conn. speed and what do you pay for.

Or if you want to specify for both.

Regards

Whats the speed Kinife?

But prices are almost half of what i get here. Man Kuwait is still ages behind in communication tech. Prolly because its using the american satellites still and paying them the whole load of money and because there is no middle class here. The only middle class ppl here are expats.

AUSTRALIA

AAPT- $35 a month.

512kbps.

15gb downloads.

No excess fees.

shaped after excess.

waiting for adsl2... I think we get $5 off the above plan per month coz we have our phone with them too. unfortunately they no longer offer this plan to new customers (it was really good!).

All up phone+net per month =$100 for virtually unlimited everything. Suits us perfectly.

Uk

Sky or Easynet - 8mb download and 600k upload depending on the exchange (I'm getting about 10mb, but keep that under your hat) ;)

It can be as little as £5 per month, again it all depends on the package you've got. No download limit (fair use policy).

At the moment it's costing me............wait for it................ZIP, nothing, not a penny.

Working for them is a bit of a bonus. :D

I live in Torreon, Mexico and there are about 3 good companies here that are: Telmex wich can give you internet and phone, Axtel also internet and phone, and Megacable that offers Internet, phone, and DVR television.

I have Telmex and my parents pay $700 pesos= about $62.5-65 USD but also including 100 local calls, and 50 international so we can call our family members in the US . But if you want only internet then you pay about $20 USD for 250kbs, and the other companies are mostly the same for only internet

Oh kewl.. some ppl have real cheap conn's out der.. Anyways, i bought the connection.

its a 1MP D/512 U for US $ 1500/year. Got an iPod Classic (new), and an Apple TV. Free with the connection. Ofcrse the channels are free too.

Seeing this was the best deal for me.. i bought this connection. There were other ISPs who were willing to provide the conn but ppl who have their connection arent satisfied because sometimes the server goes down. But this one (FastTelco) never has a server down!
