that looks the closest to safari imo
I installed FoxDie on a Windows PC and it works fine.
I think it's no way good for all-time PC users but also think it will look fantastic on a Mac.
FoxDie's lack of support for Tab Mix Plus kills it.Use Spectrum.

Just download the zip file to your desktop, change its extension from .zip to .jar, and drag the .jar file into your Tools -> Add-Ons -> Themes window.

no, you just tick Toolbar buttons: LEOPARD and Extreme ways: Leopard-D then restart firefox 
I have a number of problems with FoxDie, that make me think of getting back to my Flock modern skin.
Here you are
1) I think that one conflicts with my no go button thing
2) too much space
3) can you see that threshold
4) gosh, the font is so small and unclear. If you can read the text on tabs I will tell you that you have a fantastic eyesight. too dark. (that's the thing with all Safari themes)
5) I can change that blue highlight to the grey one. I can fix it by myself. i just want to mention that blue highlight is not nice. the light grey is much better.
6) yes, yes, I've read the RTFM. I add function text to the userChrome.js but I still have that find bar at the bottom.

I used spectrum previous to foxdie, and have to say that foxdie is better. If you disable tabmixplus then the tabs are by default, exactly like safari's when you use foxdie (close sign on the left, throbber on the right). I use Blitzr's latest leopard wb theme, and have also changed the address font using the stylish extension. The thing that really wins it for me though is the bookmark font - this was the one thing spectrum just couldn't achieve.
Can I ask you how you changed the font with Stylish? That's the one reason I'm not using FoxDie, I prefer to have the FF skin use the fonts that I'm using in the VS/WB that is applied. Thanks! 
Here is the code to change the address bar font. It takes effect globally so should override whatever the theme's defaults are. Change the font to whatever you prefer obviously. I believe I got 'Lucida Gr' in the mac fonts download package over at osx e.

Foxdie doesn't work with Tab Mix Plus, do you know why? because the Tab Mix Plus is going in a wrong direction, unzip the tmp, look into the chromecontenttabmixplustabtabmix.xml ， then you will know why, tmp has a complete different structure xml controlling the tab! as for a extension, tmp should offer some nice functions as Tab Mix Lite CE, but it should never control the tab with his own different structure xml, this is stupid, sorry, I need to say this about the TMP, I think this is a little hard for me to describe that, if you know how a theme work with the xml, then you will know why I say this. I got some nice elements with my own xml, but TMP try to control the tab with its own xml, that would cause a really big problem, I don't want to fix on it, I'm using tab mix lite ce, that's perfect...

your problems caused by your userchrome.css, just delete it
some people have the same problem as yours, but when I told them delete their userchrome.css, all go perfect
and you should check your stylish if you are using this, if you have some code working in the same place in stylish, it would cause problem, this is easy to know
Tab Mix Lite CE is a simple extension way too much better than Tab Mix Plus, but its author is a little weird, I hear that he doesn't want to submit this extension on AMO

Actually, I have a complete instruction about Foxdie in Chinese Forums, but I haven't wrote that in English, maybe I will try that later, and maybe I should send a email to Tab Mix Plus' author to let him know what problem is about his extension, and I hope he will fix his Extension. I got many themes creators here saying the same thing to me about its wrong direction, but most people don't know that because most themes don't have so much element on the tab as in Foxdie, and they have already used to this kind of wrong extension...
And here is a tip for you, with Tab Mix Plus, you can't see what most themes suppose to be as their original designed, I can let Foxdie support Tab Mix Plus, but that's not the real Foxdie, so I just disable Tab Mix Plus with Foxdie, because I don't want people using this theme without its original design...

Leopard-D is a light Leopard Safari version, if you want the real Leopard Safari, it should be Leopard and Leopard
And then you lose tab customization and functionality like mouse wheel scrolling.

Remove your userchrome and userconfig files from their directory, then restart Firefox and see if things clear up.

your problem is nothing to do with userchrome.css, and about your font issue, you should turn on your cleartype, and if you want your font look like in Mac OS X, maybe you should search gdi++, freetype on Google

By turning on ClearType you'll get smoother fonts, but if yours is just a CRT display, you should enable font Smoothing instead.
By default Windows will only smooth too big or too small fonts, and will leave normal sizes unsmoothed.
To force Windows to smooth all fonts, in every size, you can use some program such as ttfgasp (I think this may be the page).
In my case I had to copy the fonts, ttfgasp' them, then run into Ubuntu (Linux) which had ntfs-3g (which allows Linux to write on Windows NTFS partitions) and overwrite Windows ones.
Maybe there's a better way to do this... I think I'll try to write some program to accomplish this stuff...

You could use a program like Replacer to replace the Windows fonts already installed, that's what I use
