[release] About This Mac

Tried that several times and it doesn't seem to be working. Oh well.

well i know it works on xp, i dunno are u running another os ?

Mine is XP professional, SP1 installed. I am runned various Stardock products and really nothing other than that. AMD XP 2000, 512 MB ram, Nvidia TI4200 Vid.

It's alright, it looks like a really neat app though.

Just to make sure. I DL the archive and unzipped it to my root c:\About this Mac\ folder. It doesn't need to reside in the windows\System dir does it?

I have no idea if it's legit. You can check Macrumors.com. But it says there a reader sent in the screenshot.

Those pics at ThinkSecret are from an older build (7B28). The latest build (7B39) has a lot of improvements as well as changes in the gui again. Still not final.
