Just as it is to come here and be open to differing opinions. You have to be willing to accept that as passionate as you may be about something there usually is someone who is passionately against it.

Haven't seen this myself, it's an automatic one day ban in my books depending on the specifics. If you're talking in pm's than you need to let a mod/admin know.
Edit: Okay, just read the post you linked to. And no-one was directing anything specifically at you individually that I could see just at people in general. In fact I agree with Gnome's decision to close it because it looked like it would have developed into a pointless flamewar over something not even relevant to the original post.
I enjoy reading your contributions to these Forums... why leave?

Just one thing that I noticed if you read back the sentence you quoted and substitute "retard" with "an idiot" would you have had the same reaction. I know I didn't.
It's strange how one word with the same intention/meaning can cause stronger emotions.
Just a tip I've found over the last couple years has been to step back for a second and try to understand what someone really is trying to say. It's easier said than done but, benefited me in the long haul.

OK dude get a grip its not the end of the world and you should know that this is a forum and is open to many users opinions/discussions. I recomend you dont take things so personal and if you do man maybee you shouldn't be part of any forum, as when you join a comunity there will be always people who don't agree with you and you cannot force them to do so.
