hahahaha im queer, so I dont consider myself the normal male (except where it matters).
I was tempted to vote other, but thought that was a bit SICK seeing as im not a transvestite, so I voted;
"not sure" just for laughs.

I already knew that, hence my "joke." If that's what you kids call them these days.
So that makes the tally what? Four and a half? Sounds to me like you ladies have your pick of the litter. We have some artists, developers, general enthusiasts.... Let's break it down.
-------------------------------
Artists: "May be creative and insightful but, similar to musicians, usually have no job."
Developers: "Potentially have jobs unless they dedicated their whole lives to mastering the brainf*ck computer language. They also love macaroni and cheese! (who doesn't?)"
Enthusiasts: "Contrary to trying to use a pick-up line referencing that they "digg" you, it seems their girlfriends are still 404 not found. They enjoy mac and cheese too, but not as much as developers."
So as the great Olmec used to say, "The choice is yours and yours alone."
I already knew that, hence my "joke." If that's what you kids call them these days.
that ok, i got ur joke ![]()
umm yeah I dont mind gay, queer, whatever.
just not fag, poof, homo for obvious reasons.
HAHAHA NC did you pin this?
well I think it is a valid topic for general discussion.
OK- Back on topic... we need more girls to comment!
Hi,
I'm the seventh woman to vote in the poll.
Hmmm, why do I like aquasoft??
Everyone here is just quirky, kinda like I am. I get bored of my desktop after a month or so and I love the fact that there are others out there just like that. I think it's great that we can all come to a place where we aren't further classified and separated. Whether male or female, we all get to be ourselves here and just have a good time doing what we enjoy.
Do you find us sexist?
No. But I never really thought of that. Everyone here has something to say and I think it is received pretty well regardless of gender (except for those that post in the wrong forum ;-) @ nightcrawler!) [

How did you join?
I had a coworker that told me about flyakite. I was intrigued and looked around his website. Lo and behold there was a link to aquasoft and the rest is history.
How does it feel being a minority in a predominantly-male area?
I'm pretty much used to it. Of the 4 people that I work with, I am the only female. My undergrad major (CIS) was predominately male and was taught mostly by male professors. As a grad student, I'm sure it will be the same. It doesn't really bother me. As long as the men admit that we are just as (and sometimes even more) capable as they are, its fine with me!
Come on now, you must do something that fits the typical female stereotype.
Well I absolutely love earrings, makeup and flip-flops!! The occasional teddy bear is always nice. I love sunflowers and Shakespearean sonnets! Oh, and I love gorgeous men, which is probably the most typical! LOL :-D
I'm male... thats as much as people like to know..
