I had Verizon DSL a few years ago...it was pure awful. Stupid 768kbps package (88kb/s down, 15kb/s up) was like all they had, crappy. Went to cable after that (first Charter, 3 or 4mbit) and then moved and had to switch to TimeWarner, been pretty happy with it...except when it goes out because of fire damage. :X
Verizon isn't too bad over here East side, many ppl very pls with them, great technical support i don't even remember when was the last time i talked to them, maybe i should start thinking about moving up my speed, the only time it slows me down is if i travel out of US kinda annoying sometimes

T1 is slow compared to most broadband connections.
