Sure, you can change history by convincing Apple to change the UI to the UI you want in Leopard and I think Apple would love your Illuminous theme. It would go better with the "Space" Theme than the iTunes 7 theme. Who knows, Apple might still change the UI. It's possible.

I don't get it... I think your take looks awful. I much prefer Apple's "joke of a GUI."
I am surprised the Aqua scrollbars are winning so far. The Aqua scrollbars are fine.
I love iTunes 7's scrollbars, they look so professional. My favourite gui would be the WWDC Leopard GUI + scrollbars from iTunes 7. I don't like the new menu bar style very much.

I like Aqua the best, but I say they put iTunes 7 scroll bars in Leopard. I had them in my WB theme and they did look nice. I also tried the cover flow scroll bars, but they looked terrible (partly because I suck, but stil....) And having iTunes 7 scrll bars would match with the iLife scrollbars.
But in all the Screenies we're seeing, aqua is still there...... :/
