I am a Y'z Dock fan, it has everything and more ... still some job to do about the engines but you know ...
ObjectDock is in the right track to beat Y'z Dock ... looks like stardock is taking the best of all the docks around ...
My Requests :
- Add / remove separators at will
- A per dock icon animation choice
- When drag & drop an icon = get the real path not the *.link path
- Give focus back to windows automatically when mouse is not on dock
- middle mouse button sub-menu (everyone has one I guess !?) not CTRL + click
- use a language file instead of compiled code (I am french 
- If ObjectDock is able to save a config, why not allow a menu to choose between those saved config (background, icons, etc ...)
So you can automatically ajust the look of the dock according to your current XP tuning ...
The more you want, the more you get ... if not all ... an improvement !
only gripe i have so far is the seperator seems huge, and wish there was a way to lock it so u cant resize it, that and there is no drop box anymore to change the poof? 
no separators, no multiple docks, no auto focus, MUCh slower than any version before (one would think it should improve the resource usage!)(wihtout docklets running!!!)...
for the first time in my life i switched to Yz and LOVING IT!

Yz is still better! i love OD SO much but now it`s 2 slow for my P3 1ghz, 256 ram :cry: :cry: :cry:
im using a P3 1GHZ, 128 MB RAM n it works fine
Is it just me or is the animation a lot choppier? I also notice that OD still stays zoomed sometimes even when you move the mouse off the dock. And OD crashes when I quit using the item in the dock. If I open the OD preferences and then quit OD it doesn't crash, though. I'm glad docklets were implemented, but lingering bugs still haven't been fixed and the smoothness of the dock seems to be disappearing!

It's the Jeff's AnimationDocklet modified to act like a shortcut. It runs a program when you click on it. I don't know if I have the right to publish it, so if I don't have please let me know.

I did a clean install, that seem to resolved the problem!
@ devil - compare .99 with Yz .83 and u`ll c what i`m talking about
it takes .99 3 secs to open a folder where Yz .83 does it instantly!
i still wish OD got some serious improvements like AF and separators
but i`ll get back to it as soon as the bugs r fixed. i coped with OD since .51 (and loved it) but now it just became 2 slow for my PC (but i still love it the most :cry: )
i know y'z open things instantly n OD takes time, maybe thats y we have the new attention effects now
is there a way we can benchmark a test on OD like y'z so we can know the framerate it gives us?

Please excuse me for this **** question...
What does everybody mean by "autofocus"?
I installed the last ver of Y'z Dock (8.3) to see if I could figure it out.
The only thing I could see having to do with "focus" was the setting
to return focus to the window or app that had it before.
If that is "autofocus", I don't get it 'cause OD doesn't steal focus from anything.
autofocus = if you have autohide off and always on top off, the dock acts like a normal window where other windows can open on top of it, but the dock is always open. to make it jump to the top of all the other open windows, all you have to do is bump the edge of the screen where the dock is with the mouse cursor.
