Can't speak for PS but, I can do it in GIMP in four steps.
Here's a link to some reflections tutorials for those who cae -->http://www.pixel2life.com/search/all/reflections/1/
i have seen that, i like yours, drag and drop...
Yes, in GIMP it's very easy. I presume photoshop would be similar but when I tried it on my comp. it gave a lot of problems with Objectbar, and I got the Gimp and its a breeze. I might post a tutorial for it myself one day...
Looks like a great app. Just an FYI, the name has already been taken by a very visible (and well known to .NET developers) application http://www.aisto.com/roeder/dotnet/
Is this compatible with Vista? I'd like to have those reflections on my dock
Thanks for the heads up Andrew, I hadn't even searched. I hate to do this by let's throw an "i" in front and call it "iReflector"?

It should be since I'm not using any WMI. I'm not making any guarantee as I have no access to a Vista System. Guess my main question is if the com object is compatible with Vista?
Just have one code glitch to iron out. Make some better base skins & documentation. Friday is a realistic release date.
Ok, thanx sir smiley.
I wish this was for Mac OS X too.

I'm currently working on a port of this to OS X, with permission from SirSmiley, I'll post pics tomorrow.

Will you be allowing people to create skins for this?
Will you be allowing people to create skins for this?
Of course. That's the reason it's been taking some time. The actual reflection process I had pretty much figured out before starting to build the object.
It's been getting the skins to list in the right click menu correctly that's taken the most of the time.
allright
That looks very sexy. ![]()
tomorrow Smilez. tomorrow.at least where i am.
Just for that I've decided not to release it until next week! ![]()
Where is it? Its been two weeks.
