I installed MPlugin+iTunes thing today, and its nothing short of what i expect form localhost.
You'll realize that has nothing to do with this...
However, since i installed it, everytime i boot up, Windowsbox constantly needs to check one of my drives for consistency. This drive is a 120GB partition, and is not my OS partition. Anyone know why its doing this?
Specs:
Windows XP SP2
2GB RAM
140GB Hard Drive (Divided 20/120]
that's about it...no installs/changes lately, except icon changing.
I don't know why, but defrag'n should fix it.

Defrag... you could be losing the drive.
I think thats what i'll do. its happening everytime i boot up now.
Edit: When i choose analyze disk, i get this error:
Defragmenter has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on "Drive Name".
Please run Chkdsk /F
run chkdsk in safe mode, then reboot and run defrag...i had this prob and 3 days later had to replace the drive. :-s
Yeah, I had a PC at work start doing this. Long story short the drive died.

otherwise you'd better go buy a new one to backup to, since it sounds like you'll need one!
on another more useful note, when i was dual booting vista and xp, there was a point when both operating systems were checking their own partitions for consistancy on either boot. It happened to fix itself but if you've only got one operating system the drive could be failing.
the last resort might be a low level format, it "saved" my friend drive a couple of weeks ago
i agree. FAT32 is old and rusty. its only good if you need to boot it from DOS...but seriously....
either way, it seems that doing what everyone else told you to do is a good idea. keep defraggin' until you cant defrag no more. if that dont work, then get a new drive. sorry, buddy 
jesus, everything is NTFS.

Am i gonna lose the WHOLE drive? Or just that partition?!

ok well i just checked event viewer, and i have 4 NTFS errors which state the file system structure on my partition is corrupted/unusable. What i find strange though is i can still access it in my computer, copy from it, paste to it, and all the normal things. What could have possibly corrupted the drive? Is it the fact that its old???

You cannot prevent it. Age and/or defects in the manufacturing processes caused it.
Drives get old and heavy use will make any defects appear quicker.
Backup what you can and go buy a new drive.
It's not a question of IF it will fail, more like WHEN it will fail. Based on the error messages, it can go at anytime.
Hard drives don't last forever. They will ALL fail eventually.

It can be apocalyptic... depends on how valuable the data on that hard drive is to you.
I replace my hard drives at the first significant sign of drive degradation.
Data corruption/loss or repeated chkdsk runs that fail to correct a problem are a clear indication that the drive is failing.
When I start seeing that, the drive is gone.
The link Shmengie posted is a great tool.
Little pricey for some, but it can help keep your drives healthy for a while longer.
It's not worth it. I'll just buy a new drive.
