Hi! I am new here, and I apologize about my bad english. I have installed shell32.dll provided here and now the left bar with fast shortcuts and other stuff that appears in the windows explorer has dissapeared! What happened?
The icons and dialogs have changed, that's cool!.

Your toolbars have probably disappeared because of the registry tweaks that are part of the pack. To make them visible again, open regedit and find the following:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\ShellBrowser]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\Explorer]
In each of them you will find a key named "ITBarLayout". Remove these 3 keys and your toolbars will appear again.
I hope that you'll understand my instructions, and that it will solve your problem.

i think he is talking about the webview, maybe the modded shell32.dll has the webview removed 
i know it can be done from shell32.dll...
That's true. I never use webview, so I didn't understand that pack had removed it, until I tried to activate it a minute ago.

I did that and it still hasn't appeared... >.<
the registry change makes the toolbar in explorer hidden just right mouse click on the toolbar click and set view toolbar
i installed everything, but my folder and drive icons havent changed. is this normal? In open/save dialogs I see aqua type icons, but not when i just browse using windows explorer. any ideas?
Pack, do you know if the installer guy is close to finished??
This little package is great, I've been using it for a week so-far and no problems. I replaced the shell32 with my Umicons version (I like Umicons) and the two work extremely happily together. I also have Packs OE mod and I'm a very happy little bunny :boob shake:
what are umicon icons? can i see them somewhere?

How do you replace the dlls?
I keep getting errors b/c it says that some of them are already being used...and no matter what I shut down through taskmgr, I can't seem to replace *all* the dlls!
Help appreciated.

Had you done a search, you would have found an excellent tutorial for how to do this on Iceman's webpage.
On a seperate note, any news on the installer version, Pack? It's been awhile since we've heard from you. Hope everything is ok on your end. Looking very much forward to it's release
I don't want to seem impatient but it does seem like it's been forever since the release of the "unoficial" pack release...

I downloaded the individual files and installed shell32, explorer and iexplore but i already don't feel like doing the rest manually, i hope the installer comes out soon and i hope that pack's guy that was meant to create the installer did not ditch him...otherwise....I'll call in for my modern super-vilains to take care of that installer guy...arr
