Also, just a suggestion, but I really think you should reconsider the title for this app.
I'm sure I speak on everyone's behalf if I said we (and you, ofcourse) would hate to see this get shut down by Apple.
Great News:
I got Playlist functionality working near as perfect. I was having a complete head ache (ask Godpunk, i was depressed 
) about making the playlist and the adding folders work but now it works. And Im gonna have a nice rest for a couple of hours 
. Its going really well, a beta out by friday is almost definate.
Maybe I should change the name, any suggestions?

As I am French, I have a French suggestion for the name, which I'm sure will please everyone here after I explain it :
ITubes.
Why ?
1st reason : it's as close as possible to Itunes.
2nd reason : "tubes" in French slang, since the 50's, means HITS, in a musical meaning.
So... I-tubes... ? right ?
everyone on Earth will understand...
and French will understand more ! :-))

From what I know iSongs is a much, much more complete media player than the current version of iPlay.
I suggest you wait for iSongs. 
Hey guys, im very close to a beta, made some huge updates today.
22/7/03:
-Added text for Search and Browse buttons.
-Album art is now resized and resampled so looks smooth even if image is bigger than iSongs designated size.
-Playlists is now working flawlessly and loads very quickly.
-Added an option to load single files into playlists.
-Added option to delete lines in playlist.
-Added minimode
-Added CD Mode
-Last playlist is automatically loaded on start up
ToDo:
-Add buttons in minimode.
-Add a music store of some desciption
-Clean up CD mode
-Add more visualisations
-Add OGG support (maybe)

I must say that I was thinking about the display in iSongs.
You know that "brown grey" thing, I think that it don't really fits with all of whats around ???
But Anyway it's based on iTunes, and if you like change the colors or put an aqua effect, I'm sure it'll be 10+ ugly...
