Multi-Plugin for iTunes 7

Yep, I'm back with a new release

I was quite busy lately, and still am, so I won't be here to answer questions most of the time.

A lot of things have changed in iTunes 7, and Multi-Plugin needs many changes.

The current version is quite buggy, only use it if you really can't wait for a stable release.

A couple of notes:

1) No installer. The installation procedure is quite different now, I'll modify the installer later.

2) Foobar2000 passthrough doesn't work well.

3) The menu button sometimes doesn't work.

4) Dumping resources works just like before. Thanks god I made this part so well.

6) The equalizer window has black squares on it's sides.

7) All previous skins don't work, but they could be updated, the skinning engine is working great.

8) Skinners - You can base your iTunes 7.0.0 skins on this Multi-Plugin version. The skin format won't change in the final version.

Usage:

Delete C:Program FilesiTunesMPlugin.dll before installing the new files.

Extract the zip file in C:. If you installed iTunes or QuickTime in non-standard locations, extract the files manually, with a directory structure similiar to the one in the zip file.

Great to see you around localhost. Just wondering what were the issues with passthrough as it currently stands? Not so desperate to try iTunes 7 particularly given passthrough was one of my reasons for using multiplugin.

I installed this version for itunes 7 and Local, your right about that Foobar2000 is not yet working 100% This passthrough is the most important reason for me to use multi plugin. I just love using foobar + ASIO + 24/96 resampling with my lovely Esi Juli@

What doesnt seem to work in the passthrough is at least with the winding part, that you need to "pause and unpause" you song it to refresh its seeking position ;P

Also "gapless playback" + multiplugin wont work which was just "the new thing" in this IT7.

Somewhat strange that foobar can play gapless but not when driven from itunes (i notice fast pop sound when it changes the tune) ...oh well, cant have it all i guess

Oh and the biggest funny thing is that its playing two soundcards same time, the integrated and the one configured in the Foobar ...sounds kinda funny

Update:

Good news! I've managed to get MPlugin.dll working in C:Program FilesiTunes

That means the installer won't be changed, and Web Update will still work.

I had to disable the digital signature checks in iTunes.exe - which means that if you have Multi-Plugin installed, you can also modify iTunes.exe (change icons, etc.).
