I just bought Zuma, but when I try to update my ipod in iTunes, it ejects my iPod. Is there another way to update it, or is there a fix to the problem?
The new nanos look like a 1/2G mini, just run over by a steamroller.
The new iPods look awsome, hopefully a firmware update on my 5G will make it just as good as a 5.5G
The shuffle, well I've always hated shuffles, and they look no different now, so I still hate them 
However the price of the 30GB iPods! OMFG! thats so damn cheap... (But the 80GB one is still so much more expensive, but good for money if you're prepared to spend that much)

They needed 1 feature to make it a "new" iPod... its Apple for ya, I have a feeling this is just an update to get by for a few months then we'll see the next major update.

Been wondering why there hasn't been a fix for that for a long time, thank god they made it gapless. 
whats the big deal about gapless? ... i really dont see whats so amazing... they've had cross fade for years which in my opinion is even cooler...
ok so some albums make the best of the effect of moving from one song into the next- but its not the most amazing thing to be anounced in iTunes.
I have an older 5G and feel minorly outdated... ... mainly because some of the iPod's annoying faults/shortcomings have been silently fixed- such as limited battery life (especially in reguard to video)... and of course they've added in some new functionalities which im not likely to recieve... I feel abandoned.... meh i should stop whining...
fast scrolling??? I didnt notice that (just updated my iPod with new firmware... going to check now) i definately couldnt find any search feature. The new iPod view in iTunes 7 is a great idea/implementation.
I like the idea of games- it should have come earlier, i mean they only give 4 puney games and advertise it as a main feature ... but i still cant believe the cost- rip off... but then again so are most of those sort of things that you'd download for a mobile phone... *cough cough*...

I think the new shuffle is pretty cool, but im not really into the way they made the nano look like a ipod mini. I thought the orginal nano look was alot nicer.

I've been using foobar, so gapless is natural for me, and I notice the pause on my ipod.
But there is albums were gapless is essential (e.g. Pink Floyd's Dark side of the moon).
And personally, I can't stand crossfade, but thats just my opinion.
crossfade is the greatest, i crossfade all my tracks, with a huge crossfade (8 seconds)
i dont really like gapless because you end up with a strange silence on a few tracks that i dont get, i'd rather chop off bits of songs, sounds more like a club that way
