I'm glad to see Cover Flow integrated into iTunes... I was beginning to wonder why it had been so long since there were updates (the developer seemed to have fallen off the planet)... looks like Apple decided it was so nice they would buy it!!!
Awesome, the new ipods look cool. Not sure about the "matchbox" style for the iPod Shuffle.
Just downloading iTunes 7 at the momemt. The new features sound good.

I agree with you about the nano, but the new shuffle is perfect, specially for workout 
current one is great for workouts and long runs

yeah same here, looks alot like the mini (i hated the way it looked) and since its made out of all alumnium they wont have that sexy chrome backplate anymore. the nano's out today looks alot better.
although im quite impressed with the iPod video's. near dvd quality resolution thanks to H.264 encoding and an incredible 6.5 video battery life not to mention "instant searching" which is iPod's version of apples spotlight.
it looks like its about time i picked up a iPod video, im just glad im getting the 80gb model.

And yes Shady i think you are right my current nano is sexier than the new, but i'm sure they are going to get better sales with the new one
Is it just me, or has the iTMS just crashed from sheer exhaustion? I don't think they were ready for the influx. Not only can I not download a newly purchased song, I can't access the rest of the Store, or download Artwork for my existing albums, bummer...
That aside, I have to say I have mixed feelings about the new interface with it's darker, matted appearance, however we all had doubts about the new interface introduced in iTunes 5, so I'll give it time. I think that Apple realised that they were cramming too many buttons along the toolbar at the bottom, so they've cut back and relocated a lot of controls to the menus, which is kinda useful, cos I never used the Mini Store etc. so there was no use for a button. It's wonderful that Cover Flow has been integrated, but I hope that Apple didn't just shit on the original Cover Flow, they would have had to pay a hefty sum to get that gem (Oh, and free Album Art is always a bonus). The new Source List is a God send, as mine was getting rather crammed and disorganised, so its cool that I can now have my Library and Playlists organised better.
Overall I think iTunes 7 will be a major improvement, even if it does take a bit of getting used to. But the icon is atrocious...
Icon is pretty bad, and it looks like i'm gonna have to re-tag a lot of songs due to the new "album artist" tab. Cover Flow is cool, but it doesn't really work too well will 700+ albums. I like the wmp11ish style they got going. Organization is MUCH better. Overall, I'm gonna have to say i'm pretty impressed.
Edit: and video playback is still crap...and omg, its using memory like crazy...
...and no multi-plugin.. 
IMHO, Nano lost great deal of it's glam sexiness. Guess, I need to upgrade to 4Gig 1st generation while they're still selling.
I cannot belive it. I just got my 1GB (yes i know, i ONLY have 1gb) nano in Feburary, and now I want one of the new 2 gb. nanos. I do like mine more, becuse I like the white/chrome more than the silver.

Am I the only one who actually prefers the new iPod Nano's over the old ones? I used to love the iPod Mini, and I think that the 'Mini style' has been made even more sexy by the new Nano's. I'm seriously considering getting one.
The new nano's are fugly. The new iTunes is a resource hog as always, plus the buttons are ugly.

The new iPod (I-Pod as my school would say) Shuffle doesn't even look like an Apple product anymore.
The new itunes looks AMAZING! but the icon isn't so great.

The new shuffle
very practical, especially for runners (which it has always been targetted at). And the aluminium enclosure makes it stronger/scratch resistant... and is slightly smaller less bulkier size will keep it out of the way.
- They got rid of the USB connector which is a shame, it was handy as a flash drive... its not like you want to take a dock connector around with you everywhere.
The new nano
the first nano was great... but so was the iPod mini... why not combine the best of both worlds?... the nano acquired scratches VERY quickly... the aluminium case is tough as- meaning no need to buy third party cases... the mini was great but the nano's size was so much better.
The new iTunes
At first | thought WOW! ... but then i downloaded it... its TERRIBLE-
* You need an iTunes account to use the 'get album art' feature (which i dont have, I just buy CD's as my internet isnt that fast to use the iTunes music store)
* They abandoned the visualiser button and full screen button... which I used and was handy/fast/convenient now its on the menus
* They made it UGLY with a theme that matches nothing
* They got rid of the cool burn/browse button... and put it down the bottom as just a word... no fancy spin animation
IT does however have some cool features with reguard to browsing music
* The new album cd cover view which allows you to flick through cds looks and works well (shame I dont have much album art tho)
* The new album group view is also good
* The source list is better organised/divided into sections
The new iPod
* new 80Gb model... cool but nothing wow... it could be expected
* 5th gen rev B?... The new ipods have better battery life! 
which is much needed for watching videos
* GAMES- good but I cant believe you have to pay $5 !!! per game, I'd rather pay for five songs... they should be free like dashboard widgets!

That iTunes 7 takes nearly 116,000 Ks of memory!!! OMG!!!!
