Can you post a Screenie or describe how it looks? I have never seen os x alt-tab.
It's similar enough to the WinXP Powertoy - I for one prefer WinXP's.
Because I can:
What the F is ICM.3Iv2 codec, and why on earth did you encode in that.
I have latest divx and xvid codecs, and no player can find an appropriate code to play your .avi.
I'm stumped.

It's my special secret codec that I only hand out to people that don't curse at me.
Seriously, I encode it in that because the file size is excellent compared to the decent quality it retains. Other DivX formats and MPEG4 look like garbage comparitively, and forget about .mov...you're talking 80Mb files sizes for that few second snippet...
And only a few people seem to have trouble playing it. I've got DivX 5.02, Quicktime 6.0 and WMP9 installed on my system and that's all. So it's a codec packaged in one of those three items.

3iv2, is simply version 2 of an mp4 codec by 3ivx.

Nice video, but the panther alt-tab looks much nicer and chunkier. powert is more productive though.
Ooo, neat - I downloaded this and a bunch of other Powertoys awhile back, but never installed it - me gusta mucho.
As for having that codec, I have all those programs installed, too, (WMP 9, Divx 5.02, and Quicktime 6) yet I still needed to download the 3ivx codec.
What about the panther alt-tab.
i found the powertoys too slow on my computer. i think this panther alt-tab looks sweet with the huge icons. maybe a white/striped style instead of black? is this a reshackable thing?
What dll is the Alt-tab stored in?
I hate to be the bringer of bad news. But I'm pretty sure the alt+tab in windows is not a bitmap. It's drawn the same way as classic is drawn with no bitmaps (apart from the icons).
If someone where to do this it'd have to be a replacement like the power toys alt+tab. I suggested one like light switch since it seems to have more features than the panther apple+tab.
Feel free to try anyway.

it's very strange. i already thought years ago it's a very important thing in an os how you can switch between running processes but i didn't find any good solution.
Exposé in panther seems to be a good one. anyway there's only a few taskswitcher for windows:

there is iconbox of enlightenment for bsd/linux.

From what I could see the powertoy uses the images from the start panel. Well, it used to anyway.
Globox: Powertoys are a set of unsupported\unnofficial tweaks\hacks released by Microsoft after they release a version of windows. The alt+tab replacement is part of the set they made for XP.
