[Release] Panther theme
I made a shellstyle for whoever wants it, have no where to host it so if ya want add me to your msn I'll send it to ya. Heres a screenie. A jpeg, so porobably looks pixelated here sorry.

I would suggest you had a 1px border cause i cannot resize my windows unless i have them in a full feature mode.

Update:
fixed alot of issues:
-When maximising windows the title bar font stays the same (i.e. the almost 1:1) with real panther.
-Icon font is lucidamac, the sexiest icon font out there I believe.
-Option of having a useraccount picture in the startmenu, or no picture for purists.
-Option of a 0 border (borderless) or standard (bordered) version.
-A few more fixes,...

Ok, I have several really picky areas concerning Aqua based ports:
1.) Rounded corners. I'd rate these a 8 out of 10. They aren't the 10 out of 10 I give KoL's port of Smoothstripes 3.0, however they are better than most rounded corners. So consider this a positive remark. Very little room for improvement - just a few errant pixels.
2.) The Aqua controls. Ok, you get a break here since the controls for Panther are new. oh, but they aren't - it's the sunken style that Max created. So for the active controls you've hit the look right on target. Good job. Except they really do look just a bit high. Not like they've been smoking hydro either. Just by one or two pixels. Inactive controls look like ass. The shadow under each control is blurred out and the borders are sloppy. Don't take offense - I know this is a beta release. At this time however, this alone keeps me from using the theme. I have too many inactive windows open at any given time to be looking at so much ass.
3.) Toolbar mouseover. I can't tell you how many good themes don't get used because the toolbar mouseover sux. Square Aqua bubbles over my icons is one of the most idiotic things ever thought of. Yours kicks much ass, so no worries. Leave it alone.
4.) Sliders. Damn, does Panther still have these broken up gel sliders? They aren't smoothed out? Well thats Apples fault, not yours. BTW, you get 225 points for skinning the slider controls properly. They actually work in Firebird. That alone almost makes the theme worth using.
5.) Buttons. You've obviously done Aqua buttons before. Very nice.
6.) Tabs. See comment #5.
7.) Start menu. Did Y/C do your start menu? It's obviously been done by someone with some skill - excellent choice in layout and texture mixing. However, please fix your clear gel buttons. Blurry. I hate blur. If I wanted pixellation I'd be running Win95 on a Vodoo 2.
8.) Form controls, radio buttons and the rest of the gel goodies: See comment #5. Sweet work.
9.) Menu controls in PS6 & 7: Fix these please?
Overall it's almost a really good theme. The items I mentioned above need a little work and it's good to go. Please make certain to include the new Panther wallpaper with the theme, as the brighter blue works well with the theme layout, and to send me some money. Because everyone should send me either money or hardware, and I'm pretty happy with my hardware right now...

Also, I modded it in Stylebuilder to get rid of the Lucida Mac font, but when i maximise windows they still display it.
Any ideas to get rid of that?

Ok, most of your comments need to be seen by Susumu,.. remember he is the one that created it, I just tweaked the graphics and made it borderless.
I am not very good at stylebuilder, (this is why I had to ask Iceman some questions).
What I suggest is we do what Susumu asked us to do at the beginning.
I.e. This is our (as of yet) ONLY panther theme.
But it should be good shouldn't it, because it's panther!
So what I suggest is what Susumu said, we ALL work on this!
Kol, Iceman, Judge, etc, Susumu and I.
This is the first theme that doesn't fully belong to someone, and we intend to keep it that way, it is free for all talented designers to make more and more like panther.
Susumu and I just ask one thing:
"Keep it an exact 1:1 of panther."
(atleast one of the styles, I know some people have asked for blue, grey, that's cool, aslong as there is atleast 1 real panther .msstyle in there)
And keep growing the list of credits, so we can say that it is the first theme, to have been made by all top designers in this community, and it is an important enough theme, to be so.
In the mean time, I'll have a look at your suggestions, I know that the min/max/close buttons are exactly 1 (not 2) pixels too high, etc, but again I am not a top designer, it would be much better if other top designers in our community gave it a concerted go.
I have one stupid question. I have been using Windowblinds for so long, I forgot how to create .theme file for using the Panther theme. Can anyone please help me?? I would love to use this awesome theme !!

found a bug its just on in the blue mod i did i went back and look its in the norrmal version as well
It's not a bug, if you read a few pages back you'll see that it happens in all borderless .msstyles, you'll see that error in some other windows too.
If you cant bear it, just use the bordered version.
can u post those wallpapers that you have in the desktop pictures folder, they look like they go really good with the theme and i would like to have them, thx
