Maybe in Version 1.2 you could let Sahra Media start while itunes loads and not after itunes is opened. This could save a lot of time. Maybe you could add this in preferences so for slower computer it'll start smoothly, too.
And I think the red glow on the "play" and "paused" button as well as on the white retangle doesn't look very good. If you're allowed to (by Apple), could you please remove it?
AND I hope you can give the png files (all the pictures inside the application) a higher resolution because MY screen resolution is 1280x1024 and it just looks very fuzzy (is that the right word for "verschwommen"? :confused:

I tryed to replace the png files myself but i get ab white box around the image instead of transparency!
But the image with a higher resolution looks much better and smoother.
Hello there, another edit: I just changed the images a little bit (don't be angry Deetox, please! ;-) )
If you replace the four images with the ones in the zip folder in my attachments thy will look like in real front row.
Just give it a try!

The images.zip I just loaded up two post earlier are not the 3d menu images but these images replace the red-glowing images like the "play", the "pause" and the "slider" (the pos_player.png).
And there is a fix in the bande_player.png
Again, these images make Sahra Media look more like the real Front Row.

For some reason, Sarah Media 1.1 does not create the "sons" folder automatically anymore. I've activated the Sarah media sounds in the control panel during config, but still no "sons" folder like in Sarah Media 1.0. Lucky I still added this folder with the sounds manually, so now I have the sounds, but it would be much easier if it was done during config. Is this a real bug? or is the problem on my side?

Great reaction time! Oh and if for Sarah Media 1.2 you need the original hi-res front row images (itunes, iphoto,imovie and dvd) I have them in 512x512 PNG. Give me a shout if I can help anywhere with graphics, I'm not a pro, but I know my way around photoshop. It's time for me to give back!

I also have some ideas for some backgrounds. Just to give more variation to Sarah Media, something the Apple Front Row does not have! Let me know what you think, deetox10 . I will try to modify the 3D files like listes_3D and morceaux_3D also, but my first try didn't go too well. But I'll let you know when it finally does!

deetox10, I have sent you the skin packs for SM 1.1 that I was talking about. Maybe you can find a way to put it in the next release of Sarah Media, lol!

PS: The images on the left are GREAT! . I find the real front row a little bit boring, graphics wise, that is why I made the skin packs. Something the real front row does not have! And the images on the left make more customizing possible. So pleaase don't change that! If you could make it possible for any remote control to be used with Sarah Media, that would be one giant step forward..
I was also a bit confused by which buttons on the keyboard do what in Sarah Media. IMO, it would be better to have buttons on the keyboard correspond to a button on the Apple Remote (up, down, left/previous track, right/next track, play/pause, and menu) and then the user could choose which button on the keyboard to assign to each button on the remote.
