I'm guessing there's no new news on this plugin? I'd love to try and help make the plugin, but I'm a **** when it comes to plugins. Oh, if only we could all have speech bubbles.
Until we see iChat for Windows (which is unlikely), I don't think we'll be seeing a chat bubbles anytime soon.
Wouldn´t it be the easiest way to create something like that for Miranda ? Miranda Supports the whole conversation window handling to be a plug in. And the ones that exist are open source. So it should be easy (compared to writing a IM Client that can mess with the existing ones) to do that...
although this looks like a lost cause.. if someone sometime is ever able to do it Ill give them a insentive and offer $200.00 through paypal as a donation for the work time.

i think chat bubbles are in the range of this boards finest developers. Over the past year we have seen PearPC, Expire, and a few otehr mindblowing apps.Making chat bubbles would be a challenge but it could get done. maybe someone could make a new chat program. hey, it could happen
Come on, if transparent buddy lists are possible with miranda, i'm sure something like this can be done... especially since there are already plugins that handle the message view

I talked with Danimator and he told me that a plugin for trillian could be done very easily using SDK.
Is there somebody who knows enough about coding using SDK and would be motivated to try to make such a plugin?
Unfortunately, I don t know anything about coding, but if i would I'd definitely try!

Hi guys, I have good news, I think there is a way to get bubbles with trillian.

sorry to burst your "bubble," bondjames, but that's just a lame cheat ... the bubbles are really just backgrounds for the emoticons. thus, in order to see the bubbles in each and every line, you'd have to include a dumb emote in each and every line. in some of his screenshots you can see that the lines entered without emotes do not have the chat bubble background.
Yes unfortunately I realized the same thing just after my first post..... I was so happy, I thought that bubbles were now possible.... I am even more sad now.
However the guy manage to put the avatars on the right hand side, I m wondering how he managed to do that...
Its still kinda cool ..by the way is there a mod of the loading window to go with iChat instead of the trillian window?
You mean a mod of the splash screen? No I m afraid there is not, there used to be one for trillian 2 but I haven't seen anything for version 3.

I heard one is being made as a plugin for Trillian.. Don't hold me to it though.
it will happen one day. hopefully in our lifetime.
