OMG...Sooo sorry, works fine (unlike me)...I see it when you go up and down in the volume. I just thought that it was like TLB...you know, sitting near the clock. Thanks for your help...I guess I'm just being a dummy. Works fine ![]()
OSX Volume Indicator
No Problem .
How do you make this to work with the latest build of Avescripter (I dont know what the version is) and Avedesk 1.3??
After you install avedesk 1.3 or beta 2 and avescripter latest beta, just go to the control panel and add the desklets.
Once you change the volume, the desklet should appear in the bottom middle, at which point you can right click on it and change a few settings.
It actually does work. EXCEPT vista now has volume control PER application. And not "GLOBAL"
I haven't had the chance to see what is the "fix" to control the "SYSTEM" volume. If anyone has hit on a fix from somewhere else please tell me. It would speed up the fix, since I'm currently swamped with over time work till April.
Thanks
err i like it!
its way faster than 3r-1c.
thanks! i just wish that it looked a little more like OS X.
Looked more like OSX? What is missing? If you right click on the desklet when it appears you have a few options.
Hmm.......I tried it, but when I increase/decrease volume, nothing happens.
can some one make a download link pls.
You should be able to download it at www.avedesk.org
I can't seem to get the hotkeys to work, I've been trying for a few hours.
I'm on an ASUS laptop and when I change the volume with the standard ASUS hotkey both your plugins, and the ASUS volume change pictures come up.
I've tried unquoting
<hotkeys>
<hotkey key="173" shiftkey="" onexecute="ToggleMute();" />
<hotkey key="174" shiftkey="" onexecute="VolumeDown();" />
<hotkey key="175" shiftkey="" onexecute="VolumeUp();" />
<hotkey key="40" shiftkey="C" onexecute="VolumeDown();" />
<hotkey key="38" shiftkey="C" onexecute="VolumeUp();" />
</hotkeys>
but I can't seem to get a combination that will change the volume.
