well... I wud agree with rjohnstone... Shared memory is what suxx bigtime, and like he said I've witnessed what it could do with app like photoshop, premiere or 3D studio MAX (ok, running 3DMax was bit too cruel on GMA...) !!! Otherwise, like again he said... GMA950 would serve just right for starters, please who'd like to run Vista on system that stays in budget.

As far iPod Hi-Fi goes, I would keep my comment till I read full review on that thing. By specs and first looks it sounds nice. I liked those large Speaker Drivers used. I would kinda agree with following..

but it was evident in each of Apple’s four demo rooms that the Hi-Fi is capable of revealing flaws in compressed audio - good for audiophiles, perhaps less so for average people or those accustomed to iTunes Music Store downloads. Apple claims to have focused tremendous energy on getting the stereo soundstaging and spacialization right, as well as eliminating distortion at top (room-filling) volume.

Really, it's mostly about their design department, with the iLeno™ (current Gen iMacs) and iPod photo. They're designs aren't awing anymore and incase of the iPod, makes it look bloated. There may be logical reasons for it, but I miss seeing something and thinking, "DAMN! That's beautiful" and now thinking "That looks weird." Maybe I am being jaded. That's the short of it.

If it's 14 days within the announcement I'm pretty sure you're eligible for a free upgrade. However, I AM NOT SURE whether this is is 14 days within the announcement or 14 days within you contacting them. Best to hurry, though I don't think they have 24-7 support staff. Perhaps a call to an Apple Store on the West Coast?

Hmm, but should I even upgrade, is it really worth it? I'm ordering a refund now, but it may not work, so, it could just be a waste. But, wish me luck.

Edit: Okay, we upgraded, but I am unsure about the harddrive, is that upgradeable?
