If anyone wants to know my opinion, why do those kind of "wallpapers" actually qualify was wallpapers. Wallpapers/desktop pictures, for me at least, are a work of art. Taking a photo you saw on the web, and putting it in a frame, using a pattern you saw somewhere else on the web and putting it together, isn't art. It's hardly art.

Chicks girls in customized desktops were funny 2 years ago, but not anymore in my opinion because majority of those wallpapers are similar.
I still make some but only for my personnal use due to lack of creativity.
Bioscoop and Psychopulse are still making some original chicks wallpaper in my opinion.
I agree with Louie anyone with a little knowledge in Photoshop or any image editing program can just make a little cut and paste and name it a wallpaper, thats not really art, art is something elaborated generally from scratch, but those are just my thoughts....

i second this... psychopulse has been releasing some really cool walls that i try to emulate when i have nothing else to do...
personally, id rather see a beautiful woman on my desk than a Mac apple w/ a boring color gradient behind it...

psychopulse is one of my favorite wall artists, probably my fav one, because his art is so very different and unusual..
I create wallpapers of women nromally when i'm experimenting with different photomanipulations, and then end up with the wallpaper as a handy by-product

I love the Tiger Aqua wallpaper and I find myself using it more than often... offcourse there are other wallpapers I use.. and so far I don't have anyone those naked-babe-in-frame-with-pattern-on-background wallpaper in my collections....
Anyway, for those who love Aqua (and Aqua-ish blue) wallpaper... here is something you would love.... No, it's not by me.. but definitely worth mentioning :
