What's up with all the recent releases of wallpapers with half-naked women in them?
So, yeah, just wondering...

P.S: This isn't aimed at any members in particular...just lots of news threads recently by many people.
90% of members under 18 + scantily dressed women in "wallpapers" = lots of people wanting to make their "desktop look purrdy" for questionable reasons

yeah i've been wondering too.. and they are all pretty much the same.. some woman in some kind of bad polaroidish frame.. the first member that releases a hardcore fully naked picture of a woman earns my respects 
don't get me wrong, some of them do release some pretty nice things.. but since the sick amount of these kind of wallpapers, 95% of them really.. stinks..
IMO there should be a subforum for "Adult Content" or something, for wallpapers like these to go in.

As long as its not porn its allowed here. And if it does contain some sort of nudity, you better specify it in a preview image and not show any bit of it on the site.

I think I can empathize what Timan is saying, this site really is known for being a clean site. In more ways than one, Clean design, clean topic and discussion, etc. But i think that all the typical chick wallpapers are getting old. Really, guys, come up with something more original than that. Anyone can take a victorian pattern, a cheesy image of jessica alba, a simple white box/gradient, and oh, you have to have a drop shadow, And wham, instant wallpaper. On top of that, at my school, I cant even access the site w/o a proxy due to "Sexual Clothing/Bikini Photos". How lame is that?

@unbe, just out of curiousity, do you have the actual stats on membership demographics? I'd be curious.
Instead of having a seperate wallpaper release (w/ some type of frame and patterned background), how about realeasing the PSD where you can just plug and chug your object of desire. Maybe if sransaft's exposure allowed rotation or curvature and resizing, then it would essentially make all these stale walls obsolete?
Seems like this trend has a kind of snowball effect-- more girly polaroid pics lead to.... well, more of the same as people think it's ok and jump on the bandwagon?
Nothing wrong w/ half naked women... Most of the members here are guys anyway 
I've been making them myself for as long as I can remember, I often take the pictures from the wallpapers and make new ones to suit my current desktop.
Often times people post wallpapers of girls I didn't even know so thats a great bonus in itself! lol

We got like 10 walls of Jessica Alba, and the funny thing is that almost 9 of them are made of the same lame picture
Ah, it's been a long week without seeing any aqua-soft... I made my first ever women-orientated wallpapers not long ago... though i didn't put them up in here.... and yeah, there's nothing to it really is there! And then, i decided to shove her in my avatar to I think she's addictive.
Allright.... how about breaking that same frame thing out and try on some new style for change.. I mean... cm'on !!!!
I usually find out high res images on net and turn them into fullscreen wall (instead of that polaroid or whatever kinda frame)... unfortunately most of these walls are basically just a mod of original walls so I can't release them but I really got some rad collection of HUGE 2560x1024 walls...
I'm one of these 'sexist wallpapers' makers, but i try to be the most original as i can, but leaving the Idea of a girl in a frame...
I think this flood of wallpapers comes after the great walls and tutorials of ultr4man
Maybe you could pin a thread like this one in the wallpapers section, 'cause less poeple come here
Lately wallpapers have been less original as they were say 2 years ago.
If the women aren't bent over, exposed, and on another girl the wall turns into nothing.
