I think it might be more helpful if for your first 5 posts, a mandatory popup was shown with a link to the forum rules. But nice idea.
yeah that can work, thata what i was thinking, a popup that would say RULES, in huge ed letters and say Read it at once or something.

Actually plan on adding something just like that soon, it will show the rules above the posting pages, so people will have to read em.

It always amazes me to see how many people either dont read the rules or simply dont care to read them.
This would be a nice addition.
where in the bible does it say we have to read the rules. you know what, i dont know where it says it because the bible is way too long to read.

Whilst 'yes', I do rule, I don't live by the rules. I live by my own rules. Nobody's rules but my own. And these rules will one day be explored in my personal wiki.
You don't really need rules if you were truely mature (I'm not saying any of you aren't), but in my belief, I think I am mature enough to know the rules naturally. I skimmed through the rules back in May 2005, then I fell asleep .

Sort of. But the Aqua-Soft Rules also appear in a non-black hole form.
I think this would be a good idea but it disapears after the first 20 or more posts... I'm sick of ****s naming styuff all wrong and posting in the wrong place. We should make it more strict - You will be suspended for a day if you don't follow the posting rules.

I don't think it should go away after 20 posts. People with 50, 100, and even 6,000 posts don't always follow the rules; it's a stereotype to think they do. And a 1-day suspension will scare away all the ****ies, who while annoying at times, are the reason this forum has been so successful.
