don't you think it's a little bit sensless this discussion, without hearing the one who's started it.

i think his couching around and is happy to see what happens here. maybe he's the one who feel's like god - or even better like devil - to spread some bad thoughts to everybodys brain out there and don't feel responsable any longer, so like we do for him. it's often much more efectfull to ignore those people, who would never have the brave to tell such things eye to eye, but the anonymity of internet make this possible...

maybe he feels alone and needed just an audition.

In my opinion, the mods aren't rude (it's just looks rude from looking at it from your computer monitor). As you can see, the mods give a reason why they lock threads. If someone asks for help from me, I don't push them away, I help them (that includes Private Messages). The mods are just strict in a way to keep order in the forum. Now, would you like it if there weren't any moderators around, and members would just all-of-a-suddenly spam the board? No, I wouldn't think so. Yes, I was a "new'b" once, but I still read the rules and made sure I didn't "spam" (even unintentional).

ok just to clear a couple of matters up

1) it was not my intent to cause a slanging match between members & mod`s

2) i was only expressing MY first impression of this forum

3) i think i am entitled to express that opinion regardless of the amount of time i have been a member

4) i would like to apologise to any member`s that have taken this personally, it was only aimed at the couple of replies i recieved to my thread & rightly so i was told no to generalise

so can we just call it a day with this thread?? i have been a member of a couple of forums and i have gave help (believe it or not!) & recieved help, there is always someone out there who wont know as much as you and plenty that know more!! i think forums are a great source of knowlege to help everyone on there way, theres always a answer in there somewhere!! cheers, johnna
