Considering that the name of the screenshot is Bister, I think it's a safe guess to assume that both the WB and FF themes are Bister

It can't be a shellstyle, because he is using windblinds skin, not visual style. He might have modded the windowblinds skin somehow.

It's a rejig of an old shellstyle included by stefanka in his royal inspirat se pack. It can be configured to look like the mac sidebar but stefanka's was just for show, ie. unusable, just a pretty bitmap. I'm working on a similar one, the progress you can see in the september screenshots thread, with ruler-longhorn. It's functional, but only for the 'other places' shortcuts already present in different shellstyles, and is not configurable. It also requires the shell small icon size to be set to 48px, which makes it uselss because so many menus and dialogues become unusable at this size, but I'm working around that and expect to have it released in a week at most. the only drawback is that to change the icons used for the shortcuts, you'll have to reshack shell32.dll, which some people feel rather uncomfortable about.

i know that it looks like kabals finderbar...but how did this guy get it so that the x button and 'Finderbar' text bit to not be there?....having that bit makes the whole finderbar look rubbish....i dont care who says otherwise....

photoshop? but whats the point in that. so basically ghost always photoshops off the "finderbar" logo and the X mark? thats a waste.

You open it in photoshop and remove it, its pretty simple
