IE or FF?

Firefox. I'm not a FF fanatic or anything, and I do use IE on occasion, but I prefer FF overall.

Is this poll just FF vs IE? Or is it a general browser poll?

Go Safari!

#329852

This is not even a contest. FF is leading by 75%. I like Opera but the lack of skins is quite a turnoff. Who still uses IE on there personal computer.??

#329856

Well i have a question about Opera. I used to use it until recently it started acting up and now when i am browsing every minute of so it will freeze and i cannot click anything and then after about 30 seconds of freezing it will com back? I want to keep using it but i hate this problem?!! what is going on does anyone else have this problem? and how can i fix it?

Oprea is a really great browser and all, but it's too bloated for me.

I don't like how it comes jam packed with all of these features.

I like Firefox mainly because I was fimilar with Mozilla and Firefox is nice and small.

Safari. But if I had to pick another one, it would be Camino. Opera is my choice for windows, though.

#329947

ff (safari on windows... lol)due to the slim down feel. opera and safari come insecond.

#329962

you, sir, are a troll!

You, sir, are so cool, I'm still freezing.

#330058

Firefox. I like it as a user and an amateur web designer since it displays pages properly.

#330088

ie for me - but not that piece of **** ie6 and lower - ie7 is awesome :)

ffx is just as good, however I prefer when everything is made by one company... just works together better that way...

Ah, one question to the general public--

I've considered trying out Opera, and have only hesitated because I'm not sure how good it is concerning W3C standards. While anything is an improvement over IE, is it up to Firefox's standards?

Since I do web coding on the side, this is a rather important feature, and I don't want to have to go switching back to F-fox when I'm doing work.

Thanks!

Hey all, I would recommend trying opera for like 10 minutes and see if it doesn't win you over. It's highly highly customizeable and has some great features.

I still think Firefox just copied Opera's best and most easily implementable features. Its Opera light:P

firefox for me, i tried IE when my firefox brokedown (my fault actually) i just couldnt take it. i had to go back to firefox, i use IE very rarely...only for those "special" sites that dosnt show on FF.

#330432

Firefox, I've started back when it was called phoenix.

@Andreas

thanks for the list, I've always wondered about opera.

Does svg-tetris work?

They seem a bit vague about svg..

#330438

firefox is crap, ugly, stupid name, and IE7 ownz all :)

#330939

^^ Shouldn't this guy get a warning for flaming? :)

#331158

At least he used a ":)".... just like you :)

#331178

i was not flaming....you could say i was on the path of trolling but yeh...

i personally hate hate firefox, it doesn't deserve to exist. I highly recommend opera but since IE7 beta came out, i have no wish to switch back to opera :)

IE7 is excellent!

#331244

I can't comment on IE7, but I run FF on my PC and Safari+Saft on my Mac. I love FF's extensibility and the way it can mimic (with well written themes) the look of Safari.

Birds of a feather, FLOCK together.
