Any 1:1 Itunes skins?

Hey does anyone know of an itunes skin for MM plug in that is like the mac version? I.e. has rounded top left and right window borders?

#325597

MM plugin? If you mean multiplugin, it already includes them. Am I missing something here?

#325616

? Multiplugin 2.6 latest version has a skin which gives you nice aqua red yellow green widgets on the left side, but the window corners are still square like Windows XP..

Is there a skin which gives nice authentic rounded window corners?

iTunes on OSX has square corners :slant:

How about looking around next time before posting?

Also use tags and try to post threads with meaningful titles.

You are comparing iTunes 4 and iTunes 5/6. Capishe?

#325641

Do you have a pic of the square Apple iTunes?

I think the bottom pic looks 3x better.

#325642

Do you know what the hell are you talking about? Do you know that Apple changed how iTunes looks in iTunes 5/6?

Do you know it's not possible to have rounded corners in iTunes 5/6 like it was in 4.9?

As for the pic, why not go to apple.com?

#325643

Apple.com never has full size pics!

I doubt the Apple version has the same ugly square corners.

Do you know of a pic or not?

Codex, iTunes 5 and 6 for ppc (Mac) looks exactly like the one for win (except for close/min/max buttons, of course).

#325650

Man Apple's getting a case of Microsoftitis.

Thank god we can still skin the way we like.

Thanks for the screenshot, now I'll be able to make the OS X skin more 1:1. (I have OS X but I'm too lazy to boot it ;))

#325656

Codex I would link that screenshot before Unbe sprays a whole can of pepperspray in your eyes :P

Damn you're annoying Codex.

Read the rules next time or i will suspend you.

Damn it people is it so hard to read the rules or at least use common sense? Geez!

#325706

Im sorry Unbe but I'm afraid it really does have round corners

on os x. They just have a smaller radius than the older ones.

Take a look:

I'm sorry, next time I will read your rules.

Although I wonder why you deleted my post above where I showed a screenshot of iTunes on Mac with squarish borders and apologised to you for the trouble.

Oh, and for the record, I believe you are a jerk. Do you suspend people for thinking that of you?

What if I said that I believe you are not a very good moderator. Would you suspend me for that aswell?

#325788

Yeah, believe me he will and I wouldn't blame him. You're annoying as hell ;)

Chuck Noris says yes.

EDIT: I couldn't help myself.

Codex, you are acting like an asshole. I'll be honest.

You need to get your facts straight before you ask for something, unless you're asking ABOUT the rounded corners. (And for the love of God, why don't you just be polite, people here are here to help you if you ask nicely, not to do things for you because you are rude or if you demand it.)

iTunes 4: brushed metal, 'rounded' corners (however, pixely in later 4.* versions for mac)

iTunes 5: new dark platinum, 'square' corners (pixely)

iTunes 6: dark platinum, 'square' corners (smooth)

Thanks, that explains a lot. I never though Apple would have used squarish corners on Mac iTunes. I thought it was a lack of talent on the part of the Win Itunes skin designer.

Although as Hobbes says they are slightly round.

Sorry for being annoying.

I have to say I think some people in this thread are jumping off the handle. The guy was simply asking whether there was a 1:1 iTunes skin; he was incorrect in posting a iTunes 4 screenie but when pointed out he actually apologised and still people carried on telling him he was wrong. Did they simply not read his post properly?

As for the screenshot above, to me it seems clear that the Mac iTunes does have smoother right angled corners but I'm thinking this could be down to support for alpha blending by the OS but I'm probably mistaken. I remember reading a discussion about acheiving perfectly smooth corners; limited to start menu, with a recent Windowsblind's release that was not possible in the past. Anyway, if I'm mistaken I am more than happy to be corrected.
