I won't be adding any docks, or a finder bar to this skin.
Now as for the spotlight idea, we've tried it, didn't work right, but I might add a unified look and a sidebar for those forums that do use the sidebar in vbulletin.

maybe a new wordpress theme that will have the feel of the tiger desktop with the spotlight window and the top bar and the doc and the wallpaper. will take a lot of work, but you can score some big $$$ off it and use that money for this theme, and future forum ideas

This is what I am aiming for, things like a NEW PM dialog, forum alerts, such as things unbe desides to do here, logging out confirmations, stuff like that.
Did some work on the forum home and the forum display, still a ways from being done, but its now taking shape.
Working on the showthread bit tonight, herers a little legend for the toolbar items.

Very nice! I love it! When I am logged in, the icons get messed up though.
Which buttons are missing? I love screenshots so do post them if you find a problem.

One suggestion - With the mesage box that comes up telling you if Unbe has banned you, make it go all the way to teh centre of the screen rather than attaching to the titlebar. If you can, that "Sucking up" anminmation from OS X would be nice, and a shadow.

That feature is gonna have to wait till the skin is finished before I add stuff like that. I just am now getting to the postbit area on the skin, it is taking much longer than expected. So I'm going to leave a bunch of planned features out, and add them later.
BTW Skin has been updated to 3.5.1, so it will work on the latest vBulletin fine.
Can I download the updated version then? I tried using the one you emailed me (at the time vBulletin was at 3.0.8) on 3.5.0, and the quick reply window disappeared, so I'm staying with 3.0.8.
Sorry QTI, I should of been more specific, this thread is for the development of the 3.5 version, the version I've been working on HAS BEEN updated to 3.5.1, its not available yet, and when it is finished. It be sent to all the people who donated. Which should be soon if all goes well, I will be working on it alot this week or at least plan to.

LOL! i'd probably have a heart attack if i saw that pop up XD. anyway, the new version is looking very nice. i like the changes to the user info next to each post, and the new toolbar icons that you added. keep up the good work Tim!

Just an update, I am aiming for its first release before christmas, some features (such as posting screens) might be delayed, but will be implemented in future updates.
Also the skin has been updated to work on 3.5.2
