How to create an margin?

Beneath the marginal area, you mean. Since we're implementing an OS X feature, we may as well do it correctly -- the dock is always on top of windows, regardless of whether they're maximised or not.

oh yea.. sorry, still can go overtopt he marginal area, BUT underneath the dock.. Mmm... that'll be hard to implement though.. but would be NICE to have.
