This was recorded some time ago, however, the information is still very relevant, and does relate to the PowerPC architecture.
The issues with the bottlenecks and transistor sizes are being dealt with. Processors made too small have issues with cross-talk and overheating. The G5 has pretty much reached its limit as far as processor MHz is concerned, but focus on this movie, and it should give you a clearer understanding of what is going on.

So I might just go ahead and buy a powermac G5 know because the intel software for the mac's are still going to work on powerpc mac's know and plus i'm not waiting until the end of 2007 to buy a high end Mac, if there not going to be hole lot of difference in the software.

Really, could have sworn that WINE emulates the win32 enviorment. Ive never heard of WINE being refered to as Wine Is Not an Emulator. WINdows Emulator seems more practicle.

There is no emulation going on within WINE, I think you may have gotten confused with another project. Try looking at this link, I think you'll find it more relevant.

Go back to English 101 and learn what "context" and "perspective" mean as they relate to a particular subject and their proper use.
It is not an emulator, it's a runtime environment. BIG difference.
