Why are people so against this? It's absurd. He wants to start his own site, he's asking for help, and he gets trashed for no reason?
Honestly, what's the point? He wants to do something, let him do it. Maybe one thing he'll have up on other emulation sites is something really crazy called compassion.

Yes good luck on this I think he should be supported as should anyone who wants to build an emmulation site. Im sure there are plenty of people that would visit your site I being one of them.
You have to make it unique, though--that's the hard part.
What can you offer that no one else can?

I stand by my posts in this thread. He seems to be starting off on the wrong foot here by ripping from osx-e. That's not different or unique . The only thing different on his site so far is the lack of an Articles section.

Download button looks terribly similar to the OSX-E download button except for one or two tweaks.
i think people are far too protective of their own precious sites, competition is everyone involved. Who knows with a talented enough team his site could become big, basically anyone who isn't designing websites professionally knows that they have to start at the bottom and original is hard! Espcially if it's in a market where there are definite leaders, in which case there are goin to be comparisons with the likes of aqua-soft and osx-e. But to say that he shouldn't start is complete rubbish! i'll help wotever way i can

No, really. I emailed them and I asked them if I could use their download image for my mac emulation site. I showed them my site and they said I could use that image just because my site is pro-apple.
