What are you going to add to that that's different or unique?

A better design.

#314037

No name calling kids!

Keep it clean or ol' uncle Unbe will have to get the bat, and you wouldn`t want that.

abbaZaba, i suggest you watch your mouth next time, ok?

#314041

A better design.
[sarcastic] You sure are funny man :P , something like the chill zone ? I really wanna see that now ;) [/sarcastic]

#314050

No, nothing like The Chill Zone.

#314053

A better design.

Yeah, steal graphics from other website and try to make it better. I'd see using few graphics from my site on your chill zone site.

No. You guys don't get it. The Chill Zone has nothing to do with www.aqua-emulation.com.

Yes, I only stole the folder pics, but if you have a problem with that I will remove them instantly.

#314878

Please remove the site admin badges that you'd use at both forum. The badges is created by careyt for osx-e only.

#314896

No problem.

But you don't usee those pics anymore.

#314917

yeah I'm not using it anymore, but I don't remember I'd give permission for you to use it.

#314922

Aqua emulation site? We have Aqua-Soft and osx-e. They are both large, helpful, well known, and ORIGINAL places.

#314924

You did. In a Pm a long time ago.

#315004

a long time ago? your join date here is 2 months ago..

#315029

I understand what you're trying to do, I just don't understand why you think the internet world needs another Mac emulation site.

OsX-e keeps up with all of the available programs neatly divided into categories, along with tutorials and reviews.

Aqua-Soft has the best forum for discussing/getting support for said programs.

What are you going to add to that that's different or unique?

Competition creates better quality......and if there were more Mac emulation sites around, then developers , designers & users would have more resources to pool from.....

the Competition among these Mac emulation sites would create a more user friendly enviroment. As a developer , designer or user, one would be less dependent to just one site, there would be others so that the Mac emulation genre would populate and with the population growth would have a larger community.... granted with a larger community, there would be a drop in quality of sites poping out, but what if, there was 2 or 3 decent sites that came of this?????

if Alex plays his card right ;), and take advange of all the knowledge that is floating around on the net, tech pubs & this site here also, he will have a very unique site... one that I would book mark and probably hit very often....

Alex this is a great task, and if you can find some seasond assistants to point you in the right direction with various issues such as hosting, forums scripting, and admins along with the various knowledge bases just on the topic of Mac Emulation. I dont know Mac but I do know Xp, Win 2000 and NT, (and the other outdated stuff MS that they are not supporting) and have 0ver "xx" years of experence with html design and I have my MCSE working on a BS in CIS.....

if you need a volunteer, count me in....

Is there anyone else here that may want to help this chap out  ?

Make sure you do several things:

1. DO NOT DOUBLE POST at AS

2. Make sure you get permissions from the authors

3. Make sure you respect people's copyright and author's wishes, otherwise you'll go down pretty fast
