How many times..... :/ It's because 1.0.7 and previous are using older Gecko engine.From 1.0.7 to 1.5, 1.6a1 is a lot of changes. And some of these changes prevent Firefox from minimizing. I think that this problem can resolve only somebody from mozillazine or mozilla.org. End
yeah, amazing, no matter how often one says it is 1.x problem and not a 1.0x problem, there is always someone butting in to say that on 1.0x he doesn't have that problem...

Btw. I don't know if this is relevant, but in MiniMize App. firefox is minimizing properly (1.5,1.6a1)
:-/ for me it won't work in MiniMize... had the old firefox with the old engine until yesterday and it worked well, but after getting firefox 1.5 it won't create a screenshot with MiniMize...
There actually was somebody who mentioned this in the rkLauncher bugs thread. It took up about two pages of people arguing whether it had to do with Firefox's 64-bit compatibility but i was dropped because that doens'te make sense. Basically it's because of what everybody has already said the new gecko engine.
Note: It works in Objectdock because you don't minimize to Objectdock you minimize to the taskbar. Objectdock just steals it right from the taskbar.
ok....firefox does minimise to rklauncher....but only when u go into settings and uncheck "minimse to launcher" and check it again....(after running firefox)....but strangely it goes back to minimising to taskbar after a while.
try the latest nightly and tell me if U still have that problem...
you can download and use an ealier version like FIREFOX 1.0.7 which DOES minimize to the dock,and it's not too much different from 2.o which is what i was using. if you don't mind the "downgrade" then it's an excellent choice.

the nightly's been working great so far, and i've been able to upgrade my firefox and it DOES minimize into the dock. thanks for the headsup. 
the nightly is working great so far with the previous firefox but will it still minimize if i download and install the Newer firefox 2.0.0.4?

thanks for the headz up. didn't want to download the new version, to find that i'd have to remove it and download the version i started out with.
btw, firefox 2.0.0.4 seems to be working fine for me as well.
