OS X VMWare version leaked

Hi,

I have tiger running on PearPC , isnt the same thing as running it on vmware ? or this version of the link is for install directly on pc like we do with windows cd ?

Thanks

Bye

1) no it's not. PearPC is emulating an entire architecture. VMWare is virtualizing an existing one. VMWare is by far 5 times as fast as PearPC while running OS X x86 versus OS X PPC on PearPC.

2) this version he is reporting is a VMWare disk image. that means that it's ALREADY installed... you have to mount and use VMWare... to get it to boot natively on your machine is another thing, though :P

Damn i need an SSE2/3 processor...

Well unless you have purchased the Apple Developer Kit, you cannot legaly posses a copy of the X86 version of OS X.

Just because you own a legitimate version of the PUBLIC release, does not give you license or any right to the developer release.

And if you read the license agreement for your legitimate copy, you are not allowed to reverse engineer or "hack" it to run on another hardware platform.

That being said, this is still a topic about WAREZ which is forbidden.

This thread is turning into a "how-to" and "where can I get it" thread. All of which are violations of forum rules.

Mods or admins need to close it as there is no legitimate reason to have this discussed here.

EDIT: And of course there will be fanboy/flamebait comments like the one above mine as well.

I am not talking about the release that is out there right now but referring to the future when the final version of Intel OS X will be out. I am talking about obtaining the operating system legitimately and not the “warez” way but modding the files is in fact breaching the license and I am willing to do that.

...

Hopefully Apple will make it ultra-super-duper hard to install it on a generic pc.

...

Yeah, right! Open you eyes, man! All p2p networks are full with apps for mac with cracks, serial numbers...

Apple can't do a thing to stop mac os x get into that system...
