As I said earlier I don't know how long it'll take to let this become real. It's a freetime-based project and I also have to take care of school and job
take all the time you need man... we (or at least me) will be waiting for as long as it takes... 
The key to success is including what Looca needed: The ability to add folders to the sidebar by dragging them.

i can help with anything but coding. so if you want a dedicated site or graphics or anything let me know, and also i'd be happy to test the app... and the idea of trying to integrate tom's spotlight is a good one if that is possible.

Testing... Can't seem to be able to run it on my home comp (application failed to init. properly... probably no .Net framework or something?)... Gotta try on my Aqua-modded lappy then...

One thing to notice about the development of exploriX - EVERY single member who asks about the release date, asks to be a tester (if Larsen doesn`t request any) or starts requesting features, will be SUSPENDED FOR A MONTH! Next time he does that - he gets a complete ban.
Also Larsen, if you get PMs from people bugging you, feel that someone's posting crap in the thread or in ANY other way is doing something you don`t like, PM me and it will be taken care of.
We have lost more than enough developers and new ones are scarce so i won`t hessitate doing whatever i can to protect those who make this community from those who leech it.
If it isn't already (I haven't had the chance to test it), could you make it .net 1.1, instead of 2.0?

ok, heres the big skinning question, will this app be brushed by defult, or do u need to have a brushed VS?
The beta release won't be skinable, but the final should support skins. I'm working on it
