insulting people with other opinions doesn´t make you less idiot.
ok too much coffe for today bye
Wuzzie...we thank you for your concern on this matter BTW. My only advice to you would be 'don't smoke', well, not yet anyways...try to make it past 10 years old!
@bh2... quiting smoking is a real ***** ain't it.
It took the combination of the birth of my daughter and my hate for taxes to finaly give it up.
And to think it only took me 20 years... so I feel and understand your pain.
And to thoughs who have never smoked a cigarette, good job, now STFU because you DO NOT know how hard it is to quit.
For those who still smoke and don't want to quit, that's your choice and only yours.
Having been a former smoker, nothing irritated more than self rightious assholes and their fake cough when they walked past you or the little " that's gonna kill you" comments. No **** sherlock... and so is darn near everything else we eat or drink or breathe.
Hell, the stuff spewing from a cars tailpipe will do more damage to you than a frikkin cigarette will.
D.A.R.E. now that was a waste of tax payers money.
Actually, they found that D.A.R.E. works great for kids in 3, 4 and 5 grade, but once they go into Junior High School (AKA Middle School) peer pressure is too high so it has no impact. They also have been cutting back funding for the program. What happened to the D.A.R.E. program anyways?
I inhale as much smoke as I can in hopes that I die... it hasn't been working so far.
The only thing that bugs me about smokers is my personal experience.
1.) people blowing smoke RIGHT IN YOUR FACE
2.) thinking their so "cool" and can push you because they smoke
3.) people sticking their cigarette into you to move
that's why they have a surgeon's general warning, and at that it says "may" suggesting it won't
also people are afraid if smoking is banned the economy is collapsed and more unemployed people and ****
who the **** actually cares about people these days

HAHAHAHAH...wow...you have some real issues man
Sounds like small man syndrome.
Smokers die...no doubt about it! I wil die of a smoking related desease if I don't stop soon....I can't!
I've just been to a funeral of a very good friend....40 and a smoker...Did he die of smoking?. I look at my new baby daughter (18 months) and think...('why am I smoking?')...if you had three kids you'd smoke also. I've just lost my mother (cancer) and my dad (mrsa) and i'm not about to lose me...., however my days are numbered!
Well, your death may be smoking related, but technically in the end everyone dies from shock
and by that i mean everyone.
i know plenty of people with 3++ children and are healthy and do not smoke or abuse any type of drugs
"Ew" is really all I need to say.
I smoke, yes, but I think I only smoke because I'm addicted. I think if I had a choice in smoking or not, I wouldn't do it, but that being said I still enjoy smoking. Sometimes, you sit around all day and think about smoking, or you do things that would make you enjoy a cigarette better.
I've had girlfriends in the past who have broke up with me because of cigarettes. Like a "choose me or cigarettse" type thing. Obviously I chose cigarettes, and I really don't look back on them....
I really couldn't care less what people think of me smoking. I don't do it in public, and i try to keep it to myself as much as possible. One day I'll quit, but hopefully not soon. I'm enjoying myself.
And most of the side effects of Cigarettes are reversed after you quit. The deep voice, the yellow fingers, the teeth.
Yes, after you quite you will suddenly just spit out the liters of tar.
god i hate smokers. i cant breathe. they might even kill me nyahaha.
nope, i can't stand it.
Yes, after you quite you will suddenly just spit out the liters of tar.
Where the hell did you here that load of crap?
Not one speck of tar spat from these lungs... ever.
More than half the ingredients are known to cause canser, and it contains crap like fly spray, tar, rocket fuel, can cause blindess...
...But its so relaxing! Meh, actually I need to quit.
One thing Ive noticed...I could be in the middle of nowhere, smoking and doing whatever, and a nonsmoker will find his/her way past me - and would be the first one to complain about the smoking.
Merely an observation, not pointing fingers. ![]()
well, i have to admit that smoking is relaxing. it really does calm you down. I BARELY ever smoke. It mostly comes at 2 in the morning when im drunk, but i have done it without alcohol. I really cant understand people who have personal issues about the individuals that smoke. Like if you knew this kid who started to smoke, would you hate him for it? If so, you are ridiculous. Don't hate the people, hate the cigarette companies.
Also, silly Pat Yan, if the cigarette companies all went out of business, yes, the stock market would probably crash.
Smoking sucks.
to clarify what i'm trying to say in the previous post, i used to be addicted to smoking around middle school. second hand smoking that is. i enjoyed it when other smokers are around and that i can get free legal smlking from someone else's exhale. but, through dicipline, and very hard concentration now i hate the smoke of other people. when i used to be addicted i tried to enjoy it but not have an overdose. just taking it little by little. but now i quit.
through that ("no overdose" dicipline) i applied it to drinking alchohol. yes, a sophomore who loves to drink pure red wine. i know the consequences, and therefore i ration and train myself to not take too many a week. so there.
my annanomous friend actually died because he drank too much and got an accident.. isn't that fun? i don't think so! it does ruin your social life believe it or not. it can do major impact or a miniscule diffrence in your life. it dosen't matter.
i do have bad grammar but it dosen't mean that i don't know what i'm talking about. and for you guys that don't think it causes death, it does. it just shortens it with the formula: more smoke, less years than healthy expected lifestyle. it will eventually kill you. and you guys don't know what you can do in one year.
in conclusion, in my previous post i mean "never overdo anything expecially the oviously self destructing ones. play smart, and you won't get into any trouble."
.......formula: more smoke, less years than healthy expected lifestyle.
That is the most brilliant thing I've ever heard in my life. Did you, wait...did you create this formula yourself? or did...did someone show you this?
More smoking=less years... total B.S.
My grandma smokes 2 packs of Benson & Hedges everyday and has for the last 50+ years.
She's 84... My grandfather, who has never smoked a day in his life, past away at age 82 from colon cancer.
And my grandma still goes to bingo every night and will kick the crap out of anyone who gives her **** about her smoking. She's a nice little Sicilian woman, but don't piss her off.
don't believe me? i have universities and WHO as my backup.
Coronary Heart Disease
According to the surgeon General's Advisory Committee on Smoking and Health, the death rate from coronary heart disease among regular users of cigarettes is 70 % greater than the rate of nonsmokers. Recent studies revealed that the risk of premature death from coronary heart disease among middle-aged smokers to be over three times as great for men, and twice as great for women if they smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day.
Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema
Chronic coughing and shortness of breath are symptoms of these diseases. Studies involving over one million men and women have proven that the death rate for chronic bronchitis and emphysema increases as cigarette consumption increases such that for cigarette smokers is was found to be six times greater than for nonsmokers.
Respiratory Diseases
Among cigarette smokers, there was far more damage to cells and tissues in the throat and lungs. Evidently the loss of the protective cilia allowed harmful smoke particles, dust and bacteria to invade the lungs...thus weakening resistance to lung diseases.
Some of the diseases that have been related to smoking are;
Bronchitis, Emphysema, Coronary Heart Disease, Cirrhosis of the liver, Decreased birth weight, Peripheral vascular disease, Tobacco amblyopia, Lip cancer, Tongue cancer, Gum cancer, Larynx cancer, Lung cancer, Peptic ulcer, Bladder cancer and Buerger's disease.

now, just because your grandmother is still alive dosen't mean she will last for 20 more years or more. is it? she might be around above the average, and it seems that she's quite accostomed to smoking. but there's people that contracted sars, have smallpox, and die of old age right above 50. if your grandmother is fine, so be it. but there are thousands of americans that die each day because of smoking. think about it
