I am more excited about the fact that there is an animal called catbear yet it isnt a cat nor a bear - now THAT is exciting.
And this is how such a creature came to be...

more accessable? have you seen the min. requirements? Most people will have to buy new PCs to handle longhorn...if the requirements stay the same.
be thankful that the requirements are "so low"... I remember at the 2003 PDC, Bill Gates was saying something about 6+ Ghz processors... ![]()
It's actualy called a Bearcat and it's really a giant mongoose.I remember seeing one on Jay Leno the other night.
Really cool looking.
I plead the commutative law of arithmetics!
... i always wanted to say: "I plead the 5th"... it's not really applicable soooo ![]()
@Tricky: How revealing can google images be sometimes :bows in amazement:
Im personally more excited about the release of longhorn because its going to be a whole new interface. Tiger will be the same interface basically with a dashboard and spotlight. I wouldnt be surprised if Microsoft develops some new form of file indexing (like NTFS) that enables something like spotlight, and dashboard is a pointless rip off of konfabulator. So personally, with all the time and money going into longhorn, i believe its going to be a great OS. Also, I dont really care if the GUI sucks on LH, because I usually change it anyway
