RK Launcher 0.3 - BUG REPORTS
1. When you have another window open and you put your pointer over the dock it takes the focus off the window behind it. In the mac version it doesnt take the focus off. e.g. if you are typing a URL into your browser and you accidently knock your mouse over the dock you can no longer type because you have to click your browser to get the focus back.
2. When you minimize a window into the dock (which is great btw) if the window is behind another window it will create the icon for that window with the overlapping window on it. I cant explain, so to get this yourself open two programs and overlap them slightly, now with program 2 in the foreground, click the minimize button on program 1.
I think it must said before couse is very obvious, programs that normally are minimized to systray (mediaplayers, antivirus, etc) are catched by the dock.
1. If you put the dock on the left or right and auto hide enabled, then you move your mouse 50px above the top of the dock it will try to show and hide again and again, looks weird.
2. The same position and auto hide enabled, I have to move my mouse up to the 4th icon from bottom to top to make the dock appear.

1.if u minimize an explorer, the taskbar will disappear..
2. another thing is that u can't put my computer, or an internet connection or something without a specific path on the dock
3. it's quite slow even though it's verry smooth, I like it
but I'm using it.. waiting for more releases
I've found with miranda that if you minimize one chat window - EVERY miranda window minimizes, including the buddy list.
I've also found that sometimes I'll minimize a window, maximize it (out of the dock) and then when I close it the icon shows up in the dock again, even though the task is no longer running (clicking on it again makes it disappear).
R-mouse on Dock
--> settings
--> Label
--> change label color/Edge color and/or Shadow color. Save settings.
Close Dock.
Re-start Dock.
Move mouse over icons... the labels font settings have reverted to default :slant:
if a window automaticllty goes into focus from minimized to front window without clicking on the icon in the dock, the icon is still there. then, if i minimize the window again, i have two icons pointing to the same window
the dock seems to cover more than just the background area. when i have a button that's tangent to the dock, i still can't use it because the dock is invisibly covering it not letting me interact witht the icons. on objectdock, even if i'm 2 pixels away from the background and not activating it, i can still use the buttons. not sure if it's the background + shadow or somehting like that.

after i come back from a password protected screensaver, i have 2 - sometimes 3 - firefoxicons in the task area. i have to maximize them both (or all) and then re-minimize to get back to 1 task icon.

I hereby report a compatibility problem that the amazing RK Launcher has with Y'z Docklets. It has to do with the positioning of windows created by a docklet.
I have included a screen-shot that shows the problem. I have an Y'z Docklet that mimics the 'Start" panel. When clicking on it it reveals the Windows 'Start' dialog. Now with Y'z Dock this Window is shown immediately above the Docklet and not at the top of the screen. I have a second Y'z Docklet, a comics display docklet, and this one shows exactly the same behaviour.
My guess is that there is a way for the dock to tell the docklet where it is. And the docklet can then use this information to position windows on the screen that it creates. Does this make any sense?

I think this has been posted before in the first thread but I'll just reiterate:
Bug 1: Launcher doesn't save the settings (shortcuts) even if the "save settings on exit" is checked.
Bug 2: Some windows minmize incorrectly to the tray (like firefox) when you click the "show desktop.scf"
Bug 3: Winamp main window only get minmized to tray and playlist is left on the screen.
Not sure if anyone has figured out how to get this to work, but using the iCal Y'zDocklet, you are not able to link it to a program to open when clicking the docklet. I would like it to open Sunbird while maintaining the date changing functionality, but I can't get this to work on the RKLauncher correctly. When you add in the link, it doesnt do anything, and next time you load the launcher, the link is gone in the settings for the docklet.
Edit: I was messing around with the settings file for the iCal docklet and figured out how to make it work. Thought I would post it so ppl would know. Go into the iCal docklet folder which is placed in your RKLauncher docklet folder and open up the iCal configuration settings.
Edit the last lines to be:
FileName=C:Program FilesMozilla Sunbirdsunbird.exe
Parameters=-calendar
Save and restart RKLauncher. Now sunbird can launch and the date and time still updates like the docklet is supposed to.
This dock is great, I like how it behaves more like the Dock on a mac. The only thing I don't like is you can't drag files into the recycle bin, the dock tries to place them on the dock itself
BTW. I kindof figured out the whole save settings on exit thing. When I rebooted my computer (meaning windows shut down the dock instead of me manually exiting), the settings did not save. So I restarted and got the dock how I wanted it, and then right clicked it and clicked quit. This saved the settings. Maybe it would be better if someone designed these docks to save settings everytime a setting is changed.
"can't drag files into the recycle bin, the dock tries to place them on the dock itself... " its not only for the recycle bin docklet, it applies too to the other apps, when i drag and want to drop a file to open with an specific app, it wont respond to that gesture... look atachment
for example, i wanna watch a video with my VLC, i usually draged and dropped it to the VLC dock icon and woahla! it openned the archive, is this bug or a feature that seems not to be available for now? anyway wanted to post here 
the save settings on restart/logoff/shutdown is already fixed
the drag on item is not yet implemented but will be in the next version.
the focus back on active windo will be also be implemented
the dock to front on hover will also be ready

a bug: the "close application" option is NOT working here. (when you right click on the app) or its just a fake? mybe im wrong and s not working on my machine

When using the iTunes Multi-Plugin the taskbar name of iTunes changes depending on which song is playing, now if you minimize iTunes into RK with the Multi-Plugin on the name does not change as the song changes, it continues to display the song that was playing on minimization. This is probably to do with the nature of how RK minimizes the items, as in it takes the taskbar title and keeps it static, just because RK does not expect it to change. I don't know if you can do anything about this, but it would be cool

when I close de menu (not the program) in system tray "RayAdams ATI Tool" http://www.radeon2.ru/atitray/ became RKLauncher crashes . I see That the crash is prompted for the scale effect, and in the aplication of my other post too. when I desactive this option and not minimize to dock I d'ont have any problem.
I don't know that this problem is only for my, and I hope that this problem have a solution becouse scale effect is cool. 
BUG: when i open a program that is NOT in the dock and minimize it to tray (not to dock) and then i exit the launcher, the app wont come back, and the taskmanager detect that rklauncher is still running... when i end the rkL task, then the "hiden, minimized" program appears... kinda strange isnt it???

When an IM client (eg msn chat window) is minimised to dock it doesn't alert you of any new messages, wouldn't be a problem if you could minimise to taskbar instead but this is not an option.
Sorry, but I got another one for you. Its is regards to compatibility errors between RKL and Limewire. If I try and close a Limewire window (hwne I say close i mean the use the close button to minimize to tray, as with all Limewire releases) it only minimizes down the RKL. If I then try and restore it out of RKL I am left with an 'empty shell' of a window. To get the window back properly, I have to restore the window from the systray, as I would normally. This just means that once I have opened Limewire, I cannot effectively close it again, meaning that it takes up valuable desktop real estate.

One glaring bug that I've noticed is that it is very slow.
RKLauncher with 21 icons is very sluggish to respond and magnify. Y'z dock on the other hand, with the same 21 icons, is very fast on the same computer.
When you try to minimize a window that goes outside the screen, (say you drag half your window off the screen)
it will show the window, with a black portion that isn't there.
